I stopped but no one was on site. I tried the phone number, office and knocked on the main house. No response. It's a strange site off a very busy highway behind someone's home with just a shower and toilets. See photos.
Camping un peu perdu après la ville de Cork qui n’est pas accessible à pied. Le camping est situé au bord d’une nationale, on vous fait payer la douche (avec un jeton pour une douche de 10mn), proche de la route donc pas mal de bruit. La gérante est un peu strict, il mieux vaut dormir dans le lotissement à côté.
A little lost campsite after the city of Cork which is not accessible on foot. The campsite is located on the edge of a national road, you are charged for the shower (with a token for a 10mn shower), close to the road so a lot of noise. The manager is a little strict, it is better to sleep in the housing estate next door.
Campingplatz etwas verloren hinter der Stadt Cork, die nicht zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Der Campingplatz liegt am Rand einer Bundesstraße, das Duschen ist kostenpflichtig (mit Münze für 10 Minuten Duschen), in der Nähe der Straße, daher viel Lärm. Der Verwalter ist etwas streng, man schläft besser in der Wohnsiedlung nebenan.

YannLaurence04/08/2025Bon accueil de l'hôte, emplacement large et sanitaires propres. Le bruit de la route est plus ou moins dérangeant en fonction du véhicule. La 1ère nuit nous avons dormi dans le toit du van et la proximité de la route était dérangeante, la 2nd nuit, dans l'habitacle, nous avons bien dormi.
Steph4604/08/2024Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce camping après notre traversée en bateau. Très bien pour une nuit, route à côté mais pas gênante. Gérante sympathique 35euros pour 3 sans électricité et sans douche.

Eau chaude uniquement dans les douches. 40€ pour 3 en van. 3€ la douche de 7-8 minutes. Endroit assez bruyant car en bord de route. L’accueil est toutefois agréable.
NoelEE04/06/2024I think it’s perfectly fine . Lady explain what she has and does on the phone and although it may be a little pricey , it is safe /clean and in a reasonable location close to Cork . I would think an ideal overnight for ferry visitors from the continent heading either way and need a quick overnight stop .

Expensive site $35 for cold water washing up, EHU and toilet facilities. Basic and clean. Hot showers $3 extra. No services, shops or pubs within walking distance. Flat pitches with gravel hard stand, so good if wet. Our water froze so owner kindly filled our bottles. Watch the 1.8m barrier at the entrance, you need to open it.

Such a lovely host. Nice grounds and spots available. only cold water for washing up. Cash only €32 for stay, €5 for electric and €2 per 7 min shower. Soon added up to over €40 for 1 night. The road is noisy sadly as close to motorway. Very clean well stocked showers and toilets.

Quiet site with green space to camp. Only cold water from sinks but showers were warm. Owner was lovely. A little out of town if amenities are needed.

es ist ein Durchreise Platz. Ja, der Verkehr der Straße ist zu hören wir haben trotzdem gut geschlafen. der Platz ist klein und gepflegt. Die Duschen sind abenteuerlich, kosten 2€ für 7 Minuten. Ansonsten nur kaltes Wasser überall. aber eine Steckdose für den Fön,das ist ja eher selten. Wir ( Caddy,2 Personen und Strom) haben 28€ gekostet nur Barzahlung möglich. Geöffnet von 10-10 Uhr.

Einfache Wiese etwas neben der Schnellstraße, sehr nette ältere Dame ist die Betreiberin , für nen stop auf der Durchreise oder für die Fähren in Cork ist es ok, das ist aber auch schon alles. 20 Euro / Nacht für 2 Personen im womo ohne Strom, duschen mit Münzen zu je 2 Euro.
