signs everywhere saying no motorhomes allowed. we spoke to the parking warden and asked if they had any motorhome friendly parking spaces in Slapton and were told there are none.
Bel endroit juste sur la plage peut payer avec l'application RingGo. Pas de nuitée possible.
Nice place right on the beach can pay with the RingGo app. No overnight stay possible.

Stayed here in carpark many times over the years and have had food and a couple of beers in the Start Bay inn Went there yesterday and no parking overnight,what a pain..So off we went to spend our money elsewhere , lovely beach but won't be back.
ElBenno8302/05/2022Parking App actually states all vehicles allowed. Paid until 10pm and left before 8am.toilets open all night. Car park was quiet and we were only motorhome all night

Found Torcross hostile to MHs. At another big CP saw sign: ‘no MHs’ - at all. Another CP had erected height barrier and 3rd CP too narrow for anything over 5m. This was only CP that would even consider MHs and, even then, no dedicated bays so difficult to avoid wheels out of bay. Saw several units booked for this and also for parking in ‘coach only’ bays. Went elsewhere to spend our money.

Looks nice, but when I tried to buy the Ringgo ticket it said my trype of vehicle is not allowed. Its a motorhome 6.2 metres long. Also if your vehicle is that long you will struggle to find any spaces where you will fit. No good

This is one of 9 carparks in Southhams being considered by the council to permit motor homes overnight
motzzi01/09/2020Parked here for the day... wasn’t confident that I could stay for the night... but great beach and dog friendly. Had lunch here in the van, car park very busy and parking attendant moved us out of the coach bay (we were in the wrong place) but then we overheard him letting others park in empty coach bay, as all other spaces were full, can’t help but think he thought we were going to camp up.
