what a fabulous little spot by the park and lake . a few campers here last night . great nights sleep and good TV signal . highly recommended

  • 5/5

Stayed here couple night ago, lots of vans 9 in total, nice near a park for a wonder and level good night sleep

  • 4/5

A great location. Have spent last 2 nights here. You get a few people in cars and motorbikes coming up in the evening. No trouble though. They sometimes have loud voices and engines starting but not a massive problem. It is a car park at the end of the day. Car park gets a bit busy at school drop off times. Good mobile signal. Really good spot though.

I think it’s great for a town stay. People seem to be quite used to us and don’t mind or bother us at all. It’s dead windy up here but nothing really bothered our sleep. Toilets nearby (and lots of bushes), shops etc

  • 4/5

stayed here 9,10 and 11th December. very windy but a lovely quiet place to park. Great long walk along the beach front. shops within walking distance. leisure centre a 2 minute walk.

  • 5/5

perfect little spot to park up in our campervan. we parked here as we couldn't find anywhere else to park near the coast. spent two nights here and drove out during the day. we wanted to wake up on Christmas morning overlooking the sea. Nice quiet spot. I only wish there were more places for campervans along the coast of Wales. once awake we drove down to the coast and park up for our view.

  • 5/5

C'est très calme la nuit et de nombreuses places. Un peu d'activité vers 8h avec l'école à côté.

  • 5/5

Great spot for motorhomes, cameras everywhere swimming pool just 5 minute walk, toilets down on the prom 50p. Please keep this place clean, as there ain’t many places for motorhomes to park around Wales. Definitely come up from the prom end, as you can’t get in from the top end

  • 5/5

Really nice & quiet. Also there's swans! Overnight is fine, no height restrictions. pretty big carpark & loads of space. Be good & don't ruin it for us!!

  • 5/5

Very quiet and lovely spot next to a pond. Public toilets close by

  • 5/5

Very quiet park overlooking the pond. Walk to town up the hill. Cafe, toilet facilities, gym and swimming pool at top of hill overlooking park.

  • 5/5

Nice stop over stayed here for two nights. But two campers thinks it's OK to have generators running through the night and having a fire and being noisy this is why van lifestyle is given us a bad name

  • 5/5

Clean pleasant space for approximately 8 medium sized motor homes on relatively flat hard standing ground.

  • 5/5

Great car park...spent the night with 2 other vans there. We all only stayed 1 night. Easy walk to town. Quite busy with cars coming in and out but the car park is not at all tight so we didn't feel in the way, didn't block anything or feel we might get hit by other vehicles.

  • 4/5

Simple park up. No facilities. Good for a quick stop over if you have access to own toilet etc.

  • 4/5

Pas très beau mais très pratique. Piscine à côté. Pas de point d’eau

  • 5/5

Perfect spot on the night, very quiet, unfortunatelly without sea view. But you can have a nice walk on the promenade or the beach.

  • 4/5

Nice central location, easy access and fairly quiet. Good level car park

  • 5/5

Great spot. Quiet night and lovely location. No facilities other than bins.

  • 5/5

Great spot, close to centre of town but not too close for locals to annoy you. Woke up to being 'disturbed' by doggos as we made breakfast

  • 5/5

Another perfect stop, just up from the sea front so nice and quiet, level for the most part. Lovely little lake, grass to walk and child’s play areas. Lots of bins, great EE signal. Was parked with 5 others would return.

  • 5/5

Just popped up here in the car to check it out on our way home from a show in Llandudno.aGreqt free stopover and we will definitely be returning in our motorhome.I hope we didn’t startle the couple from Merseyside in a campervan when we asked if it was a good stopover. They said it was their first time here after seeing the reviews on here.If you read this, have a good night

  • 5/5

Excellent spot. 6 camper easy to park overnight. CCTV in place and I feels quite safe. It’s a park and some dog owners have a walk with their dogs and in the night and it’s a meet up point for youngsters but a nice spot all in all. Recommended!

  • 4/5

We stayed here for one night in June and there was a few other campers but plenty of space for more. The location is beautiful and ideal for taking the dog for a walk. The one entrance now has a locked gate preventing access therefore we definitely recommend entering the car park via the promenade. It was also quite a dark walk back from town. Heads up for the solo females!

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet park up. Stayed the late May bank holiday, 5 other moho's there too. Also used by local families as there's a kids play area and park right next to the car park so please be respectful.

  • 5/5

Nice little place to stay. quiet but we were joined by 3 other vans. however if staying in the week be aware of the school drop offs in the morning the carpark will get busy at school time. however woke to a lovely sunrise over the lake in the morning.

  • 5/5

Great place for the night woke up to 3 other vans parked with us.

  • 5/5

Great little spot! Spent two nights there without any problems. There was a car that pulled in playing loud music one night but they didn't stay long.

  • 5/5

arrived at 3am 3 other people using it very peaceful, 2 seconds from the beach 2 min drive to shopping centre will use again perfect spot

  • 5/5

Great spot with bins and not too noisy

  • 5/5

Amazing spot. Can we personally thank the council or the foundation project, for allowing us to come and spend a night and leave no trace. So many restrictions in this area and locals rely on tourism. How can we support if we are barred from parking overnight. Thanks to this amazing spot we were able to enjoy the area.

  • 5/5

Excellent little spot right next to a pond, very quiet with no one around!

  • 5/5

Stayed here for the night with my 2 kids. Great location. Beautiful view of the lake to wake up to. A good park near by. There where 3 more campervans/motohomes stopped the same night, no trouble or noise. And freindly locals in the morning walking their dogs.

  • 4/5

Large level car park just off the promenade. This is a gem of a place as it the only place close by that died not have any restrictions. A little busy up until about 6pm with dog walkers and people using the park facilities but after this it quietens down and is very quiet and peaceful. Starts to get busy again about 8am but had no problems at all and would definitely use again if passing.

  • 5/5

Massive car park with plenty of room. A very quiet spot, a lovely park next-door and the beach is a 4 minute walk. Stayed overnight with no issues at all.

  • 5/5

Easy access, water tap just inside the bowls green fence, two other motorhomes, nice quiet night of undisturbed sleep :)

  • 5/5

march 21 stayed to break up a longer journey in the evening. quiet spot, undisturbed & plenty of space in a large carpark. perfect for a stop over. Moved at 6am to the promenade parking at the bottom of the road to make sure we were off the car park before people started arriving as the narrow road gets very busy. bonus was watching the sun come up. promenade free until later in the morning.

  • 3/5

A potentially good spot, although we were disturbed by youths meeting up and talking very loudly right beside us at about midnight. No harm done though! Other than that, we had a peaceful night until the cars started dropping the school children off from about 8.15am. A great spot also for the beach just down the hill so we went for a good bike ride along the Promenade etc.

  • 3/5

Attempted to stay here, very busy with lots of cars coming and going. Lights were on quite late and we decided to move somewhere quieter.

  • 5/5

Was perfect for us and the pooch. really quiet and only one other van. hadn't realised the school next to it until we walked back from the beach but no one bothered us. would definitely use again!

  • 4/5

Stayed here last night with one other campervan. Good spot, and quiet once the nearby floodlight football pitches close. Gets busy in the morning with kids being dropped off for the school nearby. There are public toilets at the bottom of the hill on the promenade if you don't have facilities on board. Would definitely stay here again.

  • 5/5

Was perfect for one night. No signs saying that its forbidden. Quiet.
