Endroit à éviter. Des poubelles jetées dans la haie. Un vrai dépotoir ! La route passe juste à côté. Repartie aussitôt arrivée.
Grande aire de repos en retrait de la route, semblable à celle plus loin à droite mais moins fréquentée. C'est assez plat et régulier. la route se calme beaucoup la nuit, il y a une très belle promenade pour chiens entre certains champs qui commence à l'aire de stationnement. Bonne connexion 4G aussi. J'ai passé une nuit de sommeil paisible, aucun des personnages étranges habituels à propos de lol
Large lay-by set back from the road, similar to the one further along on the right but less busy. It's pretty flat and even. the road quiets down a lot by nighttime, theres a really nice dog walk between some fields that begins at the layby. Good 4G connection too. I had a peaceful nights sleep, none of the usual strange layby characters about lol
Großer Rastplatz abseits der Straße, ähnlich dem weiter rechts, aber weniger befahren. Es ist ziemlich flach und eben. die Straße wird nachts sehr ruhig, es gibt einen wirklich schönen Hundespaziergang zwischen einigen Feldern, der an der Raststätte beginnt. Gute 4G-Verbindung auch. Peakbagger24/09/2025Layby with grass verge separating it from the road. Quite level. The road is busy during the day but gets quieter at night. Handy for an overnight stop. No facilities.

Pity there is not a bin here as there was rubbish in the hedgerow which was difficult to pick out, but I did manage to retrieve some. Some noise from the road but mainly quiet between 11pm and 7am. Regular dog walkers come here morning and evening, but they appeared friendly and unconcerned about vans being there.

a convenient stop overnight on the way N or S, slightly off M1, hardly any noise, and perfect for a quick drive or walk through the City of York.

close to road, road noise but settles down about 10/11 pm then starts again about 7am. no rubbish bins and loads of rubbish scattered around

Nice and quite, not too busy and pretty level too. I'd recommend this one over the one on the other side of the road. good 4g
