Great stopover at a reasonable price. £15 no electricity but black and grey waste. Water available however we didn’t have a suitable connection for the water tap as there is no thread on the tap. It was very windy but we backed up to the fence with the hill behind us so it wasn’t too bad. Lots of great walks from here and the stars on a clear night sky are amazing.

Awesome place! Amazing hikes, services were good and great views. The midges descended at 6pm till about 8am and it was very sunny and dry the whole time we were there.

posto incantevole ma attenzione ad un paio di aspetti: 1. rubinetto per il carico dell' acqua è un rubinetto a pulsante senza filettatura quindi occorre essere dotati di adattatore per poter usare la propria gomma di carico. 2. gli stramaledetti "midges" che hanno reso un vero incubo la nostra permanenza . impossibile scendere dal camper senza essere ricoperti da loro e dalle loro punture.

Super zum wandern, super Aussicht, ruhig!

Liegt super um Wandern zu gehen, etwas windig aber angesichts der großen Fläche ziemlich sicher freie Plätze, im unteren Bereich allerdings ziemlich schräg.

Lovely views but because it’s high up the wind really was too much, I paid for two nights but only stayed for one as it just wasn’t pleasant and I could hardly get my van door open, lower down there was hardly any wind at all. I think £15 is a bit on the expensive side but it was handy to have bins and water there.

Sehr schöne Möglichkeit eine oder mehrere Nächte dort relativ kostengünstig, 15£, zu verbringen. Sehr viel Platz und auch ruhiges Schlafen. Leider relativ wenige, bzw. hauptsächlich nur sehr lange Wanderrouten. Anmeldung über die Website funktioniert schnell und einfach.

£15 park up and everything you need, water, waste, bins. Only suitable if you have onboard toilet as no loos or sinks. No height limit for paid for area. Die Höhenbegrenzung gilt nicht für den Teil für die Wohnmobile, einfach per QR Code Ticket buchen und Code für Tor bekommen. Dann gibt’s Frischwasser und eine super tolle Aussicht auf den See und den Sonnenuntergang

Open terrein, geen faciliteiten, nu nog gratis, ligt hellend, ideaal om te overnachten na gewandeld te hebben in het nationaal park.

In the winter, this is just a car park which you are free to use, overnight included. Spent quite a few nights here with no problems at all. Excellent views and quite popular. 4g is decent enough considering the location.

Quiet night, it’s relatively sheltered here considering how high it is up the hill and how open it is. £15 paid in Sept. All facilities in order and working. Fresh water tap is a bit of pain to use as it’s a push button tap (dispensed 2L a time) it’s not a traditional tap. Top of the car park is flat, lower down it is sloped. we stayed on a weds night, 4 other vans, no problem finding a flat spot.

Mal für eine Nacht ok. Zu teuer. Nicht schöner Parkplatz. Wenn gutes Wetter ist (hatten wir nicht) mag es sich lohnen - aber etwas weiter oben an der Talstation kann man auch den Tag über bleiben.

Please don't give any money to this site! £20 is crazy, as is the no entry after 8pm policy. The management company here are owned by the government. They are responsible for spending 10s of millions of public money on ski infrastructure that does not work, and can't even give us somewhere to poop & park for a reasonable price. Save your money & use the campsite if you need facilities.

Une vue magnifique et des services ( eaux noirs/ grises/ eau). Idéal avec des enfants car grands espace pour eux jouer et point de départ d'une superbe Rando. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette pause au calme pour la nuit. Nous étions une vingtaine de véhicules mais dans un calme plat. Nous avons payé 20 livres

It’s now £25 per night and you get nothing for it but a non flat location and brown water. Not worth it, better to go down the road and stay for free.

Views are great. we went to fill with water and it was brown. OK to drink apparently but didn't really want to fill our tank. So very expensive for a car park.like others have said no wonder there's not many folks there.

When it was £10 a night you felt it was worth it but at £20 they’ve shot themselves in the foot. Need to be out by 11am and can’t book after 8pm for the night

Ok but Really not worth £20! It used to be £10 and it was ok at that price because the ‘facilities’ are marginally better than no facilities at all.

£20 is a lot to pay for the facilities. I saw several campervans park on the free carpark next to it. They walked on to the site, filled their water, chucked their rubbish, emptied loos & even did their handwashing. Amazing views.

Die Aussicht hier ist wirklich lohnenswert. Allerdings passt das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Die meisten Plätze sind sehr schief und die Versorgung war abenteuerlich. Keine Spülmöglichkeit bei der Kassetten Entleerung, Trinkwasseranschluss nur mit "Wasserdieb" möglich. Haben für 20 £ mehr erwartet. Waren am 14.05. dort und die Schranke war aktiv. Platz buchen geht dann online über die Website.

Heute hier gestanden und eine schöne Aussicht gehabt. Es war richtig kalt in der Nacht. Wir haben nichts bezahlen müssen. Die Schranke zum Platz war offen. Entsorgung war alles geschlossen.

Amazing spot to camp with services provided! So good to see places like this in the UK. The views are incredible and it was a very quiets night sleep.

Il y a quelques places à côté du parking qui sont gratuites, ce qui est une bonne chose si on n’a pas besoin de services. Très belle vue et ambiance. Une étoile en moins car il y a de la pente meme avec des cales.

super schöne Lage, die Aussicht traumhaft, grosser Platz, komplette V/E, Internetempfang geht, wenn auch langsam, Buchung/Zahlung muss online erfolgen, erst dann bekommt man den Code fürs Einfahrtstor, kein Strom, ist uns aber egal, sind autark, für den Preis (15 Pfund) sehr i.o. u. empfehlenswert

Disappointing as drinking water was not available (late August 2023). It was the main reason we spent money on an overnight park up so weren’t thrilled with it. Paid £15 and had a lovely view and able to dispose of grey and toilet water, but not worth the £15 without the drinking water being available in my opinion. No warnings/signs about this.

Voor £15 prachtig uitzicht, grote plekken, grijs water & wc verschonen. Start van vele mooie wandelingen. En ja, mugjes, maar waar niet. Met beetje wind geen last van. Uniek hoor!

Mooi uitzicht en prima uitvalsbasis voor een hike. Toegang met code die je krijgt na online boeken. Parkeerplaats zelf is niet zo inspirerend; beton/grind en omheining, that’s it.

stunning view of the mountain ! huge carpark . £12 per night (booked through an app). carpark further up,(railway) is £3 for day only . toilet open up to 4.30 there. amazing walks around on sunny day

Great views, decent price, all the services you need, including bins, plus decent internet speeds for work. It is proper exposed on a windy day though!

Everything you need with a self contained vehicle. The most amazing views and great walks even from the site itself. No sound but the wind. Ground not level, you'll need wedges in most places. There's a seperate chemical waste spot, please do the next visitors a favour and don't empty your toilet in the grey water disposal anymore (even though there's still a sign on the lid).

Good facilities for fresh water and disposal of toilet/grey/garbage. Large concrete area, pretty uneven at most places. Very windy spot, but beautyfull view. Book in advance to receive the entrancecode, well worth the money.

Beautiful place. Has all services you need. Good 4G signal. The car park has a barrier with code access. You get the code once you’ve booked online. Website and QR code on the board at the entrance. We booked on arrival. Rangers come round and were friendly. Car park is at a trailhead for Cairn Gorm. Even 30min up the trail are fantastic views. £12/night.

This is a great aire available by booking ahead I booked £12 doesn’t have toilets on site but has Greg and chemical waste disposal as well as all recycling.

Closed. Massive empty parking lot but no way of getting in it. There’s another smaller parking area beside it but this says it’s for cars only.

Stayed here for one night a little windy but you can expect that with the excellent views

Stunning views, plenty of parking, services (although they look shut out of season) all for a suggested donation of £5 per night. what more could you want? does get windy here, as to be expected with the location. park nose into the wind and you should be fine!

Cold blustery night when we arrived, no where this high to walk the dog. Main thing to note the service were all locked up. Do t understand why as this really stuffed us not having chemical waste disposal. and toilets by beach are also locked for the winter. Phone signal and data was brilliant.

stayed here last night. The actual parking is shut because of the season but opposite there is free parking with no signs saying you cannot stay overnight. when we arrived there was one other camper and a car joined us in the night. However it was very windy and its not level.

Extraordinary park up! Views out of this world. Rangers are so lovely and friendly. Hoping for a Reindeer visit in the morning. Not windy for us - fingers crossed it stays that way! Pretty level pitch so used levellers for the 1° to make it 100%! Doggos so happy here - make sure you check that the reindeer aren’t outside before letting dogs out.

Parked up as a car in the car park next to the main motor home park. Very windy, people arriving and then leaving at points throughout the night. Great views

V/E, Frischwasser enthalten. wunderschöne Aussicht, leider jetzt im August viele Midgets, unmöglich draußen zu sitzen, aber die Aussicht entschädigt!! Straße über die Cairngorms leider zZt gesperrt! Hier rauf sollte man trotzdem, wenn auch nur um die Aussicht zu genießen

Really good spot for 10 Pound. The inclination is a bit strong and hard to level out. But the view compensates all!

Used this car park for years and always put £5.00 in the box. When I saw online they had opened a Camper-stop online, I assumed they had levelled the car park and put in a service point. They have put in a service point but no toilet. They have installed a barrier. They have not levelled the car park. There are level spaces, but most of the car park is not level at this time. Cost is now £10.

Super Übernachtungsplatz mit traumhafter Aussicht. Sehr windig, aber man ist auch in den Bergen auf einer exponierten Lage. Preis von £10 angemessen. Es gibt Frischwasser und Müllentsorgung (sogar Trennung) und Grauwasser. Der Warden war super freundlich und ja bbvanlife, wenn du die geforderte Gebühr nicht zahlen willst dann ist dieser Platz nichts für dich.

Amazing views. Large parking area. About 10 vans stayed overnight last night. Loads of space. Very windy even when parked into the wind. Van rocking. Woke to sun and clear views. Lots of walking paths from the site. A locked gate and warden so felt safe and secure. Must book in advance. Rubbish bins, fresh water, grey and black waste. Would recommend.

Super friendly wardens. Fabulous location with stunning views. Loads of space and facilities were great for an aire. Excellent value for money at £10.

Wanted to use the services for a donation, there is warden in residence in van as apparently ppl were abusing it, the exchange wasn’t friendly at first as they approached me shouting (no uniform or identification), just assuming I don’t intend to pay? His partner continued to shout across from her chair&beer and insisted I cannot do anything unles I pay first. No trust or chill, unpleasant.

It's beautiful up here! and really quiet. In winter it's a skiing resort. It's gated ...at least in summer..- better book at least a few hours b4 you arrive. I arrived at 9pm and could only book for the next day.
