Freundliche Besitzer. Ruhig und zentral gelegen. Wir haben hier 3 Nächte gestanden - Sohn an der Uni besucht. Man kann zum Park and ride fahren, dort kostenfrei parken und von dort mit dem Bus in die Stadtmitte fahren für ca 11 Pfund hin und zurück/ Person. Sehr zu empfehlen. So haben wir uns die Suche und die Parkgebühr- oft weit über 20Pfund/ , Tag, nach Parkplatz für 6m Camper ersparrt.

Un endroit sympathique bien calme quand même. Le centre ville accessible à vélo très facilement. Pour 15 livres, cela reste raisonnable, par rapport aux campings alentour à plus de 40l. Un monsieur sympathique à l'accueil.
Sehr Fairer Preis für York. Mit dem Rad ist man in wenigen Minuten im Zentrum. Freie Platzwahl auf gemütlicher Wiese mit Frischwasserversorgung, Toilettenentsorgung und Müllcontainer. Waren von Sonntag auf Montag Mitte August mit nur zwei Fahrzeugen und haben eine sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht. Nur der Baulärm vom Nachbargrundstück Montagmorgen ab 7:30 Uhr hat genervt
Very quiet, nicely in the green. Very friendly welcome. We paid 15£ per night. And no worries for larger mobile homes; we drive a 10t truck and have 2.5m width. There's just a 5m stretch where the trees are narrowing in; tuck in the rear mirror ... ;-)
Fattoria molto tranquilla, non siamo riusciti a prenotare, al nostro arrivo avendo già tutte le piazzole occupate, ci hanno fatto restare comunque ma in una zona sul retro esteticamente non il massimo. Comunque gentile. Accettano solo contanti ma ci ha permesso di restare portandoli dopo aver visitato la città e prelevato. Con uber l'abbiamo raggiunta in 2 con 5 £
Lovely green field to park in, no frills, just a chemical toilet black waste point and tap water. Really difficult to book, we found no one answered the phone unless it was the weekend, and no one got back to our voice message. So even though we arrived on a Sunday in the summer holidays, we were one of only 3 vans there (room for 12 or even more) so I would just turn up without a booking, as most likely space for you (probably as no one can get confirmation if there is space). It is £15 and they only take cash. You might end up posting it through the door if no one is there the morning you leave, so have the exact amount. Friendly and helpful when you do speak to them/see them.
Leuk veldje, lekker dichtbij centrum York. Alleen jammer dat er sterke rioollucht hangt waardoor buiten zitten onaangenaam was. Echt vervelend was echter de agressieve communicatie van de (zoon van) de eigenaar op het moment dat iets hem niet zinde.
super netter Empfang mit vielen Tips und freie Platzwahl. allerdings weder duschen noch Toiletten oder Strom. hätte es WCs wären wir definitiv länger geblieben. sehr schön wen man es einfach mag
Wij kwamen hier vroeg in de ochtend toe en werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenares. We mochten ons al installeren voor we naar York vertrokken. We namen de bus richting York (500 meter wandelen). Kampeer weide zelf is rustig gelegen, wij stonden er met vier andere campers. We betaalden 15 pond voor één nacht.
Très bel endroit à la campagne. Très calme. Nous sommes entourés d’oiseaux, de petits lapins et de faisans ! Petites tables et bancs en bois à disposition. Eau potable et possibilité de vider les toilettes chimiques. Terrain très spacieux. Le bus qui se rend au centre ville est à 10/15 minutes à pied. Le bus 415 est parfait. Pour une nuit, 15GBP avec le plaisir d’être en pleine nature.
Stayed for one night. Lots of room even if it’s full. Don’t let the “tight entrance” comment put you off, it’s narrow but easy. Great access for York. Toilet emptying is easy. Was a bit disorganised when booking and paying but not an issue. Met a lovely Australian couple in their Overlander that are just starting their European adventure.

Ondanks dat de 10 plekken volzet waren hebben we toch nog een plekje gekregen op het terrein ervoor. Voor 1 nachtje in de omgeving van York, rustige plaats voor £15 zonder stroom. Afvalbakken aanwezig. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar.
Perfect place for exploring York. 15 minutes from the centre by bike. Despite the sings, also non-members of the Caravan Club can stay here. We paid 15 £ for a night. Nice view, fresh water and toilet disposal available. We spent a calm & safe night here.

Lovely location, we arrived early evening on bank holiday weekend and the owner said they were full but let us park in the yard for £15. Very quiet area, beautiful peacocks wandering round so be careful when you drive in that you don’t run them over. Cockerels doodle doodling a couple of times at 6.30am but not loudly and it was quite nice and felt like we were in the country.
Guter Platz um York anzuschauen. Tolle Wiese hinter der Farm. Es scheint aber, diese ist nur für Member Caravan Club. Man kann dann evtl. auf dem Betriebshof stehen. Nicht so schön dort, aber für die Nacht ok. Müllentsorgung, Toiletten Entsorgung vorhanden. 15 Minuten mit dem Rad nach York. 15 Pfund Cash. Etwas schwer zu finden. Kleine Zufahrt direkt am Kreisverkehr.
Prima overnachtingsplek indien je geen sanitair en electriciteit nodig hebt. Je loopt in een half uurtje naar het centrum van York. Wij konden alleen cash betalen, £15 per nacht.

Nice setting with water and chemical toilet disposal. Large gravel yard for when field is too wet. Not many roadside park-up options around York so at only £10 a night think this is a great option. Less than an hour’s walk into the city centre. Dog friendly.

A little gem of a place, a tenner to stay so close to York, literally a 5 minute walk to the bus, which is a 10 minute ride into the city centre. Half the site looks like there's permanent caravans on it which are in separate area. Campervans and motorhomes are in another very quiet field, grass and level, with clean water and toilet disposal but no toilets or ehu. Will definitely stay here again
Membre réseau ACSI. Endroit très calme et très bien entretenu. Nous y avons passé notre dernière nuit avant de prendre le ferry retour. Situation parfaite, pour visiter York (20 min à vélo), ou comme étape vers l'Ecosse ou retour. Hôtes sympas. Nous recommandons.

They tried to charge us twice, and when we explain we already paid to his wife they acused us of liars, awful treatment. We couldn't enjoy the rest of the day, we had to leave.
Super, gepflegter Campingplatz in der Nähe von York! Fußläufig ist York in 45Min zu erreichen. 10$ pro Nacht. Sehr zu empfehlen!
£10 for the night, we didn't have electric, with a place to dump toilet and grey water. You can't drive over the point so you'll need a bucket or hose. But it's super quiet and a 15 minute walk from the bus route into York. If you want a base for adventures in York or the surrounding area this is the one.

Camped here on: 29/09/2020, and I can’t recommend this place more! Very peaceful. Mark was incredibly helpful and easy going. £10 for electrical hook up. No toilets or showers but chemical waste deposit. About 35min walk into town across the paddock at the end of the lane.
Excellent host, catered to our every need! £10 for the night and was able to leave the van parked there while we went to explore York for half the day. Lovely walk into the city, 40 mins but an easy walk. Would highly recommend

Bon emplacement au calme, situé à 2 km du centre ville. Pour vider les toilettes, pas de souci, par contre, pour vider les eaux usées c'est au seau où bassine car l'équipement n'est pas adapté. Pas d'électricité par contre l'eau est comprise dans les 8 livres. Pour visiter York, prévoir les vélos, pistes cyclables ok, propriétaire sympa.
