Perfect for what it is. You know what you're getting from a spot next to a motorway - some noise in the background. But as you're near major northern cities, it's a great base. I've used it multiple times and never been alone, even in winter there's usually one or two others here.

Great stopover. Quiet wide road. We parked here as Malt Shovel pub down the road had let cars onto the motorhome pitches even though we had booked an overnight stop. Their loss. Will stop in this here again when in the area.
Great stop after a long journey. Lovely wide road, houses set back on one side and fields on the other. Well lit.
Really quiet residential area but very wide roads with loads of parking. Well lit. Easy to access from the M1. 15 mins from Leeds.
Nice quiet spot overnight, only a few cars coming and going. Well lit, public footpaths, bins and a garden centre at very end of the road. Does start getting busier from around 5.30 in the morning. Think staff from local businesses/ factories use it to park. Would definitely stay again.
Lovely place to spend the night if your less than 7.5t. The street is very wide and well lit with street lamps. It has bins. There are public footpaths for walks and a cycle lane if you want to get about. The garden centre is lovely. We took our kids to feed the fish and have lunch in the cafe. There is a children’s soft play too! The garden centre sells a wide range of things including clothes. We have stayed several times and there are always other vans here but plenty of space and very quiet at night.
