Veuillez noter que le pont de Rooskey peut être levé pour certains bateaux. Les personnes arrivant par voie fluviale sont donc invitées à vérifier l'état du pont avant leur arrivée.

Riverside Mooring
Guests arriving by boat can reserve one of our private mooring pitches beside the park. Moorings include access to fresh water and shore power, with secure gated access from the park.
Please note that Rooskey Bridge may need to be lifted for certain boats, so guests travelling by water should check bridge arrangements before arrival.
Fishing and Onsite Tackle Store
Rooskey is well known for excellent coarse fishing and pike fishing on the River Shannon. Our onsite Tackle Store stocks bait, lures, flies and other fishing essentials. Friendly advice is also available for guests hoping to make the most of their time on the river.

Great location for a quiet night. All the amenities with a food delivery service. Pizza food van on site Fridays from 5. Local bars only accept cash. Showers and facilities spotless.
Now called Lynders Holiday Park. Excellent facility with automated entry etc. Beautiful location, although the village is now just one pub (no food) and a Centra shop. Everything else has closed down, although I think food delivery is still an option.
16 places right by the river.Everything included,showers, toilet, ehu, water, chemical toilet and waste water disposal. I paid 25 Euro for a van with 1 person and 2 dogs. lovely location.there is even a food delivery service to the van. when you check in, you are given a code which opens the barrier,but also the shower and toilet facilitied.

Walking and cycling trails, parks, riverside views, nice and helpful staff well recommended.
Beautiful spot! My phone wouldn’t allow me to call the number on the gate to enter. On the shop door there is an intercom system that allows you to speak to someone. The lovely lady took my number and phoned me back. Each large pitch is marked out
Now open! Well it certainly doesn't disappoint. What a fantastic refurbishment. A few services relocated but logical. Have had stayed previously and had a very quiet secure night. Well done Roosky team its a pleasure to stay with you.
I left 5 stars in the hope that when this place reopens it will be nice. Currently it is closed and it is being renovated. Owner hopes it will reopen early September 2024.
Wunderschöner, sicherer und ruhiger Ort, direkt am Shannon. Es hat WC, und die Möglichkeit zu entsorgen und Wasser aufzufüllen. 15 Euro ohne Strom ist ein fairer Preis. Pub, Laden und Chinese Take Away gleich um die Ecke, bzw. über die Brücke. Äußerst freundlicher Eigentümer.
yes there are reasonable facilities, but....Roosky is a ghost town, empty houses, empty factories, shops, pubs. Nothing to see here except the river, €15 is steep for this place that is behind a closed business, nice guy runs it but really not a great stop.
Black water disposal behind portacabin toilets. Fresh water by the canal side but also at the back near the grey water disposal. Slight road noise so didn't stay just used the facilities. Thanks Dave
Très bien avec les services utiles. Super calme. Le propriétaire n’était pas là nous avons appelé le numéro indiqué il nous as donné le code pour la barrière. Puis avons laissé l’argent dans la boîte aux lettres sur la porte comme il nous as indiqué. Soyez honnête.
Beautiful spot in the town of Roosky. Walking distance to shops and bars and fantastic view of the river Shannon. WC but no showers which was the only downside. Very quiet overnight
called in today ( 11/07/23) paid €5 for a service, filled with drinking water, emptied black and grey water. You have to ring Dave for access code if he’s not there
David, the owner, is welcoming, friendly and helpful. He provides information on local activities and services. His camper park if clean, level and complete in its facilities. He provides this at very good value.
Schöner Platz mit guter Infrastruktur. Die Parzellen sind großzügig bemessen mit Blick auf den Shannon. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
A quiet spot overlooking the river. The gates were open when we arrived (go through the grey metal gates with red Private signs - you might not see the campervanning sign if the gates are open!). We left Kieran a voicemail, went ahead and parked and hooked up and he arrived later. The price was 20euros with electric and 13euros without. No showers but clean toilets, waste disposal and water.
We enjoyed this spot, it is right on the River Shannon and the owner was quick to call back with passcode to get into the gate. The only thing that could be better is if the contact number was displayed better in the window of the shop. The Chinese restaurant across the bridge has great tasting food. You can order the food from the pub. The owner there is extremely nice.
OK for a night or two. Everything there you need, water, grey and black waste, electric if needed. Next to small supermarket. Nice walk along the Shannon. Quiet area. Euro 12.- without electric, Euro 17.- with electric as of September 2022y
Netter Besitzer, der uns per Telefon den Code mitteilte und später vorbei kam. Sehr schöner Platz am Shannon für 17€ mit Strom Ver- und Entsorgung . Die Nacht war sehr ruhig. Im Dorf ein Supermarkt und Pub. In der Umgebung kann man auf den Nebenstraßen gut Fahrrad fahren.
Clean facility, only €15 including all access to facilities. Clean showers toilets kitchen etc. nice quiet spot but very little to do, would be a good place if you were into kayaking as there's good access to the lake.
Amateur hour! We arrived and phoned the number on the faded handwritten note mentioned earlier. I got voicemail and left a message. got a text saying 'I will call you back.' We waited 20 minutes, then had enough. We started to drive to the next town. Then the guy called me. He wanted €17 for a pitch with electricity, for what is basically an aire. We decided to give it a miss.
Our first stay away in our camper and couldn’t of been happier. Gated complex extremely quite excellent views watching the boats up and down. Facilities clean everybody friendly. Weir Lodge pub across the water was excellent Frank the owner a gentleman good atmosphere and Chinese takeaway attached to get food. Excellent weekend stop we will be back.
Pour notre première nuit dans le pays , nous avons pu faire les pleins d'eau claire et électricité et vider les eaux sales pour partir à l'aventure dans de bonnes conditions . l'endroit et calme et les gens rencontrés sur place étaient sympathiques .
Really nice Aire! The GPS coordinates given above landed me on the wrong side of the Shannon. The coordinates where I'm parked on the Aire are: N53.8314 W7.9196
Great spot for a stop over or longer as wish. Toilets/EHU/Grey/Black. Right on the river side with boats coming and going. Staff very chatty & helpful. Good value at €16 inc EHU. Centra, chippy, chinese & pubs within 2 mins walk. Peaceful nights rest, will be back for sure
What a we gold nugget,it does what it says on the tin,centra,chippy,chinese,2 pubs,and lovely we site beside river shannon,and the owner is the nicest man you could talk to,cant wait till get back
What a great little place in a great setting. There is a couple of pubs, Chinese takeaway, fish and chip shop and a great supermarket all within 2 minutes walk from the site. fresh water, grey and black waste and rubbish bins. The owner is easy to talk to and very helpful. the number to call is on the small office door by the fuel pump at the gate. €14 per night with EHU
We visits here every year from the south of Ireland, we love it here, you have beautiful view of the boats going up and down the river, it’s €14 a night with electric, very quite here at night. Peaceful nights sleep, we will definitely be back next year .

Excellent quiet spot with a restful outlook to River Shannon. €10 or €13 with power. Drive over Grey waste. Chemical waste is within the wooden enclosure next to the blue toilet block. Water tap on the side as well. Entry gate needs a code which is obtained by ringing Fergus on the number written on the office door. Thanks Fergus
