Had a good night, only a few visitors to the carpark. overlooking the sea.

teslacampingwithkids09/10/2022Gorgeous sunset and sunrise. Excellent traditional pub grub next door. Park overlooking the sea. Free from 9pm. Good cafe open from 8am. On a coastal walk. Our first Tesla camping experience.
markheathcote16/04/2022Slope is only 3 degrees so did not need to level. stunning views. cafe is excellent and open early, pub is very friendly and food is reasonable pub grub. some Late Night Revellers turning up in a car were a bit alarming at one point but they didn't hang around for too long.

Stayed here one night arriving late and then just paid for 1 hour in the morning, from 8.30am, to visit the ruined monastery and fort. Very peaceful and relaxing night. Looked a lovely spot for walking or cycling along the coast in either direction. Car park payment via mobile app. Because we had to put in our number plate, we were charged according to our vehicle type. All worked well.

Great spot and great idea local council. shame the allocated spots are not level. even more so with the slippery surface used. Impossible to get into our Fianna ramps, they slide out before you can get into them. hence only 3 stars
bun24/07/2020Lovey spot, Motorhome spaces are in the first carpark called The Reculver Country Park £10 parking all day free from 8pm-8.30am. Pub is good for food Social distancing lots of outdoor tables

The parking cost above appears to be for cars - the sign on the payment machine indicates that it is free for cars overnight only and £10 for each 24 hours for motorhomes specifically. Also a slightly noisy spot with local youths drag racing their cars in the car park - it's OK but I wouldn't highly recommend it
