Quiet and peaceful, waking up in the middle of no where with nothing but the birds to listen to.. Fields on one side and sea on the other...

Schöner und ruhiger Parkplatz mit Weitblick über die Felder. Dadurch aber leider eine sehr große Angriffsfläche bei dem starken Wind, den wir hatten. In 10 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß die Ruine.

No amenities, take your rubbish etc home with you. Very peaceful spot to park overnight. Beautiful views and dark. Walks to the Dovecoat & further to the Castle ruins & beach walk. Dogs on leads at all time. Note to locals picking up after your dogs also applies to you too, not leave it for the non existent poo fairy or poo fairy bag to collect.

Beaucoup de locaux viennent se promener dans la journée tellement le site est magnifique (encore plus quand il fait beau !). Le soir c’est très tranquille .
ReinerReisdorf29/07/2023Zufahrt über Single-Track-Road aber auch für unser 7,90 m Womo gut machbar. Platz geschottert und recht groß. Schöner Spaziergang zum Findlater Castle.

davidmgjones19/05/2023Nice place to park overnight although it can become regularly windy as it’s higher up and exposed. Approx 500m walk to the castle ruins and a mile to the beautiful Sunnyside beach. It was peaceful overnight but I did have a car turn up at 1am sitting for 15 minutes with its engine running and people speaking so felt a bit vulnerable as I was alone. A few early morning and later evening walkers.

Very remote, felt a little vulnerable. Very exposed, open to the elements - the van was rocking all night, and it wasn't because of me!
slyfry25/01/2023Nice and quiet stay!! Felt very safe and off of a small road so very secluded. Wonderful walk in the morning to castle ruins as well as entrance to nice beach. Would recommend!

n'avons pas passé la nuit ici mais je pense que celle-ci aurait été très calme .Très belle promenade vers la plage et le château du moins ce qu'il en reste

Great place to stay the night, especially if you plan on visit the castle ruins, one or two dog walkers early evening and in the morning, other than that very quiet and beautiful scenery.
