avoid this. yes it's a nice view BUT two cars either side of me at 3.20 am Saturday morning. loud music and the smell of cannabis. I did a litter pick after both left. im sure their parents would be ashamed but unfortunately I doubt they would be
I live very locally to this spot. I’ve parked here for years. But when I camped here for the first time. I had men trying to steel my vehicle regardless of the fact I was in it. They banged on my van and waited outside my car for window covers standing in the dark. There was a group of them in 3 vehicles. They chased me when I drove off. Never been so scared in my life and sadly it has effected me

Have stayed a few times but wouldn’t stay again over weekend as noisy. Last Sat I repositioned my vehicle as youths left but had to remove glass bottles first. The amount of rubbish left after one night was shocking.
very close to the road with heavy vehicles passing and the young parking to meet and play music. quietens down after 11.00 pm. I wouldn't stay again, but it was handy after visiting the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
Lovely views and location, but right on a road which, while not particularly busy, has fast and therefore noisy traffic, so we didn't sleep particularly well even with ear plugs.
Great views, stop for coffee or possible overnighter. 5mins from M1 J38 and Yorkshire Sculpture Park also nearby.
