Heaven spot for me in a long wheel base transit. Didn't see any armed children and to be honest I don't believe there ever have been in this very sleepy south Devon spot
Limited to 2/3 spots Sept 22 due to plant machinery taking up one side of the car park, appears to be shoring up the cliff on the estuary
Very calm place, nice at the lake! Though there were two young lads in a car smoking, it was not a problem at all (with respect to the other comments)!
Stayed for one night in July. A fantastic little spot. Peaceful and tranquil with fish jumping in the shallow water, skylarks singing over the surrounding hills and the sun sets across the river. Easy access into the water including kayaks/SUP but it’s shallow (gravel/mud) so need to be over high tide. Litter bin present. A car with lads did turn up, they smoked weed but didn’t stay long.
Came to this spot, and thought we would give it ago, despite the resent comment about group of lads.
Pulled on the spot and there was a camper already there plus a car with a gang of lads in, smoking, playing music and also appeared to have a gun. The camper left and so did the car with lads in, but we didnt feel safe or trust that the car of lads wouldnt return. We decided to move on.
beautiful spot indeed and it seemed perfect the first hour, even though quite a few cars were passing by. nevertheless,we didn't stay overnight. we decided to go
away just before dark due to two cars in a row with young people smoking drugs, car radio on and even showing off with a (fake?) gun in their hand... afraid to have same visitors during the night as it was mid term holidays . pitty
Wow what an amazing location! Roads are small and windy but it’s cornwall ay! Only about 4 large spaces and tends to fill up in the evening, beautiful view in a very quiet place. Although sheep are very vocal. Would return!
Lovely little spot right by the water, we arrived early hours of a sat night/sun morning and not a person in sight. Only a couple of walkers about in the morning too.
Toller Platz für eine Nacht. Zufahrt etwas eng mit aber genügend Ausweichstellen. Sind mit unserem 7.5m langem Wohnmobil gut durchgekommen.
Sehr ruhig in der Nacht. Ebbe und Flut kann beobachtet werden.
A relatively quiet small but level spot went against the water. There's a bin and a small footpath next to it. There is also quite good phone signal here. Only missing out on the 5 because it can get quite busy in the day because its small and the road can get busy at times.
Great little area for the night, stayed 02/04/22 with two young children who could play on the beach although not a sandy beach, quiet and not bothered by anyone, bin on site which is handy.
We spent 1 night here great spot fairly quite apart from a boy racer with very noise exhaust that park opposite us for about 3 hours and a few cars going past .
Good spot for overnight. Some parts are unlevelled and slightly muddy during the wet season but it worked for us. Can fit x1 MH and x2 small campervans. Bird watchers and walkers parked during the day. Youngsters came in the evening at different times to smoke and listen to music but didn't bother us. Great 4G connection. Narrow lanes to get here.
I stayed here for 1 night. Absolutely fine if there is space but if busy I would not recommend for larger camper vans (the van I'm using is BIG). It is a small spot.
Right next to the water, secluded peaceful spot, ideal for some down time. Nice vibe.
Lovely spot the road does go single track in parts wouldn’t come down unless you are a confident driver and know your vehicle length. About 4 vans here tonight. It was a bit tight did have to reverse in off the road
Lovely spot by the river, few dog walkers in the morning but pretty quiet overall. Great place to stay, just slightly on a hill and space for 4/5 vehicles
