Decent tarmac, flat, with wide path and a grass verge on the opposite side separating you from the road. I only stopped midmorning for a break, but I saw the unpleasantness of human faceas next to the path. Would imagine a lorry driver next to his lorry over night....... Hence 2 stars only.
