Beautiful nature campsite with tall trees and at least two different herds of ponies roaming around. Would definitely come here again.

Very peaceful site. £10.75 for 2 oldies and a motor home for the night midweek, which is great value in the New Forest. Cycle tracks (no traffic) from here. One of the sites in the campingintheforest group which you can book online

Sehr schöner und friedlicher Ort zum Übernachten. Reception (auch für Matley Wood) akzeptiert nur Cashless. Denny Wood ist etwas weiter von der Strasse entfernt und daher ruhiger. Dafür keine Hunde erlaubt. Die Ponys weiden zwischen den Campern! Idyllisch! Wir haben für eine Nacht £13.47 (2 Personen, 1 Campervan) bezahlt.

I absolutely love this place and has yet to be beaten. The woods the wild horses omg it was breathtaking. Only wish we stayed longer.

Stayed there for one night. Massively peaceful. Horses walking around. lots of lovely birds. not great mobile reception.

A quiet camping in the forest site that offers discount to camping and caravan club members, Elsan and water available, but no toilets or showers, no dogs allowed as in a scientific interest area but Matley wood it’s sister site allows them

Lovely peaceful site, reasonable price with midweek discount tue-thurs and discount with caravan and camping club. ponies, donkeys, cows and deer roam free but don't touch or feed them. there are no designated pitches, just park where you want as long as you are 6m away from the next unit. no toilets or showers so own toilet is essential but there is a fresh water tap and elsan disposal point
