Car park in the picturesque village of Otford. Nice views out onto green fields. Parking costs more during weekdays. Unfortunately it doesn't seem possible to book the next day on the previous night. So you'll need to be an early riser. Apart from that, great quiet spot at nighttime. Gets busy during the weekend daytime even in November.

We arrived here late on a Wednesday evening. Lots of spaces to park but our 6.2m motorhome with bikes on the back was a little too long for the bays. We did our best to park out of the way. Flat, quiet, field for the dogs & playground for the kids. Only issue we encountered was leaving the village on the tight country roads in rush hour the next morning!

We arrived late on a Sunday afternoon which worked well as there were plenty of spaces to choose from. Although overnight was free we bought two tickets and stayed to wander around the pretty village. Toilets were open early and clean considering. The pub across the way, whilst beautiful and historic was expensive for drinks and unfortunately due to staff shortages, not serving food.

Tucked behind a quaint village, with a handful of dining and beverage options. A few nice walks around and some of the houses are really eye-catching. Toilets were very clean, unsure what time they are locked. A mostly quiet car park, definitely somewhere worth venturing if you're in Kent. The parking was free from 6pm to 7am, and very reasonable thereafter.

Very quiet place, with a nice old typical English pub (the Bull) just 50m far from the parking!

Great park up. Pretty wee village. Busy during the day and we could not park here during that time as it was needed for sports and locals but night time parking would be great. It was a shame the MH that was there the night before emptied their grey waste over the parking lot. Probably won’t be around for long if people exhibit this behaviour. I was embarrassed on behalf of of them.

Excellent stopover. Lots of room easy access. Quiet and flat. Situated in a nice village that has a couple of pubs and felt very safe. Free from 6pm and first hour also free.

Perfect spot for an overnight stop. Very quiet night. Plenty of spaces although they aren't very long. Free to park overnight. Couple of cars came in early on in the evening for a meet up but they were in no way troublesome. Can definitely recommend this spot.

Great spot, really quiet with nice clean toilets, play park and open field. A local shop is within 5 minutes walking distance.

The pub nearby (Bull) is hopeless. Slow to serve, bar staff tend to ignore you as a non local, no atmosphere . The Turkish restaurant (Hilal) opposite is much better. Friendly, welcoming, good service. You can just have a coffee or a beer (bottled Turkish Tuborg if you can believe it!) or have something to eat. They'll even do you a take away to eat in your van if you prefer. No pretensions.

I stayed there a couple of times lately and find it excellent. I also found if you put £2 in the ticket machine in the evening (after 7pm) it gave you a ticket expiring at 18.30 next day.

Ideal. Quiet, toilets, flat, nice village with pubs, cafes and restaurant. Good walks from here. Train to London or Sevenoaks and beyond.

We rolled up after dark at about 9pm on a Sunday evening. Had a pleasant dog walk about the village and around the recreation ground, then a peaceful few hours sleep before setting of at 3.30am for a ferry. Not many permissive places as nice as this left. Ideal.

Great spot when driving too and from the channel tunnel. Plenty of picnic tables. A fab kids park and village green. The village is cute with several places to get coffee, tea and cake. Completely legal to stay there because the police drove in last night as we were setting up our van and they just waved and carried on!

Great spot! We enjoyed a nice morning in the village and our son enjoyed the play park very much! Public toilets available, very calm. Free on a Sunday.

A great car park stop off. We stayed during lockdown so the toilets and pubs were closed, though we have a portaloo on board. The park was perfect for the dog with friendly people. Also we got a free hour’s parking in the morning.

Popped here for an overnight stay, arrived at around 6.30pm on a Sunday the main part of the car park had a number of cars In but around the side, opposite the park there were a lot more spaces and no other vehicles. We parked in the corner, it was mostly lovely and quiet and free on Sundays! We got a ticket for 1hr free and left at 8am. We all slept well!

Spät Abends und nachts ist es hier sehr ruhig. am Wochenende sind morgens dann einige Besucher mit Hunden unterwegs. Standen über eine Nacht hier ohne Probleme sind nach dem Frühstück gefahren.

Guter Platz an großen Freizeitwiesen, Hundetreff, gelegen. Offen in den kentisch Weald. Zwei traditionelle Pubs fußläufig zu erreichen. Der nette Ort wird von einer kleinen, stark befahrenen Straße gequält. Die Parkgebühr ist wochentags höher, s Foto.
