Sadly the council have now put in a height barrier so motorhomes can no longer access this site ?

Used this car park a couple of times last year with no problems. Now there is a 2.2M barrier in place, our campervan is 2.7m. Out of season you can find other spots around the area fairly easily.

Stayed last year and was great, the council have now installed barriers (2.2m high). We can still just get under, but the barriers have caused motorhomes previously using to move into residential streets. It felt like a safe spot when there were motorhomes there but now it's mostly much deserted and frequented by gangs and drug dealers. We stopped for a few hours and drove off, didn't feel safe.

The worst night ever! Our window was smashed in around 3am this morning with a glass bottle. Whilst cleaning up the glass and on the phone to the police a car came slowly around us with a gang of boys in. We quickly packed up and drove away around 4am this morning. There were other motorhomes around us so we wasn’t parked there alone. Would advise to STAY WELL AWAY!!!!

Thanks to some Motorhome’s taking up several parking spaces and not being considerate they have now installed height barriers

Great place to stay with surrounding views of the sea. No parking restrictions/charges. Was busy but not hard to find a space. Had a relatively quiet night. Toilets nearby in the Pavilion Theatre. Morrisons close by with bus stop outside. Bus into central Liverpool takes about 30mins.

Brilliant place to stay. We stayed 2 nights shops and attractions close by. Lovely beach walks. It gets very busy but we always found a space, we even left midday and came back early evening got a space right away. usually goes quit around 6pm or 7pm quiet night. Great spot for fishing and there are bait shops in the area. we will be back

Lovely spot, with seaviews but spoilt the night we were there by boy/girl racers doing handbrake turns and playing loud music until about 1am! It's a free country so it's something we have accept!

Very nice even in winter. Peaceful with nice views and walks, food and drink stores ( with toilets) maybe 150 metres away

Spent a very peaceful night here. Coaches arrive to park up around 10 am but they don’t bother anyone. Food and bars in walking distance.
