Der Platz der markiert ist sollte nur mit 4x4 befahren werden, leider haben wir die Beschreibung zu spät gelesen und waren dann eine Stunde am Platz, da wir permanent einsanken und die Reifen durchdrehten. Der Kiesplatz ist besser zugänglich und alles in allem ist der Platz schon auch schön, nur viele Mücken. Also wichtig ist es aufzupassen nicht den markierten Platz ohne 4x4 zu befahren…
The platform spot is great to park on and you can walk down to the little beach on the other side of the road. Otherwise, it’s just a spot for parking, no walks other than along the road.
We were the only ones there. Managed to park down on the loch side. Space for others down on the loch and more up top. Stunning location made perfect by being the only ones there. Only thing that let it down was the amount of rubbish and broken glass left behind but wouldn’t stop us visiting again.
Great Park up at the top... Nice and level... lovely waterfalls close by Down the bottom at the Loch edge we stupidly tried to get on the gravel with our heavy transit and got stuck haha!! only go down if you're light... we are far too heavy for that.. it's a beautiful spot though
Quiet night on raised tarmac plateau by stream. View of Loch and Ben Nevis, easy walk to lochside. Deer grazing at night in field opposite.
Tried down the lake, got stuck, Land Rover boys towed me out after a number of attempts and expletives. Plateau up top has divine views. Very quiet road
Lieu : Allt goirtean a chladaich. Site en dur au bord de la route à très faible passage au bord du lac Loch Eil. Très bien pour 3 ou 4 camping-car maxi au bord d’un cours d’eau dans lequel les enfants peuvent s’amuser. Prévoir produit anti midges, présents en pagaille le soir...
