Lovely spot. Very flat. Cars pass at speed on the road during the day but quiet at night. Used by local dog walkers. Waste bin provided. 2 bars of 3G on 3. Nice walks round Barkstone woods (and adjacent). Space for 6/7 cars so doesn’t feel selfish in my Sprinter parking perpendicular to the road so others can come and go. Will return!

Great spot. Arrived after dark, very little traffic along road. It’s a good lay-by with a path leading in to the forest. I’ve found a level spot and have ok 4G signal. Looking forward to a peaceful night!

... absolutely no need to try out this spot. It is more a passing place than a Parking place. Too close to the street and too much un leveled... we went further on

Large & quiet pullover near the Castle and with nearby walks.

Great spot really quite after normal car activity stops, good trails nearby. Walkers in the day but no other cars parked in the evening.

Excellent stop over, very quiet through the night, next to not used much road.

We had a fab stay here. It was super quiet, we were the only camper there. Didn't hear any road noise through the night, only owls squarking. We were awoken at 6am to a quad bike as the viking mountain bike race was on, so we left fairly early to avoid the cyclist. we believe this happens every 1st weekend in October. We would definatly consider coming back again!

Pulled in quite late, one other camper already present and closely followed by another. We all managed to fit on a level bit. Just up the road from here is access to the Jubilee Way Bridleway that leads to Belvoir. Very little traffic, nice views on the Bridleway, very quite spot.

Quite a gradient. Many dog walkers.
