En effet un peu en pente mais un bel vue ! On a passé une nuit très calme.
Parking en pente avec une promenade au vieux château. Peut-être une belle halte pendant la journée.
Sloping parking lot with a walk to the old castle. Might be a nice stop during the day.
Schräger Parkplatz mit Spaziergang zum alten Schloss. Könnte tagsüber ein schöner Zwischenstopp sein.

BigRedExplorer27/01/2024A nice spot on a reasonably quiet road next to a circa 1700 barracks. The parking spots are pretty small, designed for cars and on a significant slope — it is doable in a camper but wouldn’t the my first choice. The gradient of the slope is not easy to see in the photos.
Koelschi30/09/2023Wir haben dort eine Nacht verbracht und waren super zufrieden! Nicht weit von der A9 an einer kleinen Straße gelegen (nachts quasi kein Verkehr), mehrere Stellplätze (ca. 7), keine Verbotsschilder und sehr viel Grün außenrum. Aufgewacht sind wir mit einem Blick auf die kleine Burgruine, grüne Wiesen, sowie Kühe und Schafe. Sehr idyllisch!

Great wee quiet spot. Carpark on a bit of a slope. Great view of Ruthven Barracks which you can go into to explore. Lovely paths for walking. Only a couple of minutes drive from Kingussie and Newtonmore for bars, restaurants and takeaways. Added pics taken on a lovely September morning.

Schöner Platz, ziemlich schräg. Tolle Sicht und nahe an Ruthven Barracks, lohnenswert zur Besichtigung!

JWee09/06/2022Parkplatz am Straßenrand auf Asphalt für 1 großes Womo und 2 kleine Womos/ Vans. Schöner Blick auf die Ruine. 2 Sitzbänke mit Blick auf die Ruine vorhanden. Wanderungen möglich. Tagsüber recht viel Verkehr, nachts wenig befahren. Mülleimer am Parkplatz.
