Seems like a decent enough spot. No height restriction. A few big pot holes, full signal with EE. We didn’t see any bins but it was dark when we arrived. A bit of road noise but fine for a night or a food stop. Several doggers, but they didn’t bother us. One parked beside us and I shook my head to say we weren’t interested, so they pulled away, parked elsewhere and left us alone.
Arrived about 8pm, few cars about. Was level enough to stay without jacks. Lots of cars continued in and out throughout the night....into the early hours. Some random music on at about 4am but it was friday so maybe youths enjoying the forest area. However had no bother or disturbances to us and the MH. Beautiful forest walks, perfect for dog walks. Would recommend for heavy sleepers :)
I stayed here last night. There were few dog walkers when I arrived. A nice walk around the forest was a bonus! The car park quietened around 10pm and the dog walkers started from 8. A couple were friendly and stopped for a chat which was nice. lovely little spot, only just off the road but far enough to be out of the way. No bins so make sure you are prepared with rubbish bags!
stayed here one night. a few late night vehicles came and went again no bother for us. some road noise but quiet enough for a good night's sleep. lots of litter unfortunately but leave as u find or leave it better is out motto.
I stopped here during the day on a sunny Sunday afternoon. There is a lot of litter on the floor and the regular arrival and departure of hatchbacks full of youngsters suggest it is quite popular with their age group
