The front car parking area has a max stay of 3 hours. They take a pic of your reg on entry/exit. Long stay is through the back. The west of the town has a small retail park with more parking but it fills up quick. Petrol there too. Whittingeham Drive has roadside parking. Also be sure to check out over the Nungate Bridge for eats. Great wee pubs in town
Thank you to Haddington for this stop. Arrived after midnight so very quiet. As others said go to back carpark as quickly filled up with local people early the next morning - especially dropping off for school. Perfect stop on way to NC500. Think to park carefully for an easy exit... we didn't and reversing was a bit tricky. I suggest being away by 8am if you plan to move on. 6.3m campervan.
Nuit très calme pour une halte d’une nuit. Préférez le parking du fond car le premier se remplit vite au petit matin et doit être plus bruyant plus tôt.

Ugly location, did not stay
Car park with Public Toilet next to it. Stayed a Friday night, very quiet area. Car park is busy during the day. We have 7.4m moho and straddled two bays. Lovely historical village with pubs, cafes, shops- The Loft did a great breakfast. Walks and cycle paths around the area.

Great spec! Walkable into town for a drink and local shops. Aldi supermarket on way in for necessities (and toilet) and costa for a coffee on way out if required. Only downside, not great views but quiet so a great night’s sleep.
