lovely views. great for the dogs. locals are really friendly. little windy. nice flat parking. only downside boy/girl racer loud music till early hours didn't bother me slept through it . would definitely stop again.

Large parking seafront. Tranquility, wind and ocean noise. About 1km from the city center. Garbage cans nearby. No service. There is a public toilet on the road down to the Quay, although shuts at night time.

chrisincumbria13/12/2023Admittedly it was midweek in December but really quiet. Great sunset. Large stones on the carpark a testament to the advice to be wary if a storm is forecast. I walked a bit of the coastal path the caught the train back

Great place to stop. Lovely views of the sea. One word of caution- we stopped right next to the sea and some very kind locals advised us to move a bit further back from the sea due to rocks being blown over the sea wall that would damage the van. Was glad of the advice as was quite a wild night but no issues.
Vansleep11/11/2023Stopped off here to stretch the dogs legs for a while, it was a relaxed and quiet stop. Plenty of space for them to run around (Vizslas), although there wasn’t a walking route as such. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed here over night no issues. Very big car park relatively flat, lots of room. It is in an exposed area so can get rather windy. Would stay here again.

Fantastic park up. Loads of space and very flat. Quiet overnight. Lovely walks along the beach and round the harbour and there's bins and toilets. Great views and sunset.

Excellent stopover car park is nice and flat and plenty of space .Didn't arrive till 10pm .Was a young lad at 11pm zoomed past pipping shouting wake up but never bothered us .Very peaceful night and would certainly stop again. Lovely walk up seafront in the morning

Nice peaceful spot. We stayed for one night. Sea is quite noisy but once we put the roof down it wasn’t really noticeable. There was a boy racer came in the car park about 9pm and started revving his car, bless him. We didn’t mind as wasn’t bothering us in any way but could have disturbed sleep. Would definitely stay again.

This is a level parking area right on the coast with wind, sun sets and if it’s calm - tranquility. We have parked a few times. The toilets seem to be closed all of the time at the moment. Please be aware that some of the dog walkers are not bothered where there little friends do their business or that they should clean up after them, including the the area favoured by campervans!

What a perfect place to stop. Plenty of space right on the sea, only 2 other vans. Peaceful night, just the sound of the waves.
missIndy30/08/2022Lovely spot with plenty of parking and a lot of green space. I spent 2 nights here late August. It was just me the first night, and one other camper on the second. Lots of dog walkers coming and going during the day but no issues. There is a toilet block at the entry to the quay but it closed about 5.30pm. The ice cream van parked up on the quay for half an hour at 3.30pm. Stunning sunsets!

Seafront, near the harbour, therefore exposed to the elements. Fantastic open grass area and kids play park, toilet block at entrance. Plenty of spaces for all. Walking distance to town and Nature Reserve.

EDIT:- Spent another night here mid Jan and still lovely and quiet Nice quiet town. Public toilets open during the day few minutes walk away. no signs stopping overnight, lots of space, peaceful.

Would have been nice, but a group of boy racers turned up and used it to rev their engines and race each other, so we left. The toilets were shut on Sunday, but are just a short walk away.
