(ME15 0LB) Maidstone -

We arrived late at night 10.30pm and left by 8 am. peaceful nights sleep. A car pulled on the car park about 1 a.m but left within minutes. The car park is down a long narrow path. It's not far from a beautiful church and an old grave yard. occasionally, we heard the trains but we felt totally safe and had a peaceful night's sleep. would definitely recommend

Road leading to this spot is very narrow, and has many cars parked on the sides. Not reccomended for anything larger than a LWB van. It's a popular location with the locals, so finding a place to park could be difficult. The commuter trains overhead are only 3 cars long, and are infrequent. A quiet nights sleep and locals are friendly. No facilities.

Can't comment on trains over night, but secluded spot, not particularly beautiful, looks like good walk along the river but no easy access/ramp for dogs... Walk looks pretty enough. Was just checking the location out, didn't sleep over but no restrictions.

dans une vois sans issue, un petit décrochement. spot sans intérêt, inconfortable.....le train passe au dessus de notre tête jusqu'à minuit et à partir de 5h du matin.

Lovely place close to river. Good pub at 450 m. Spend 1 night here next day Ferry to France.Easier than finding à place in Dover and only 60km

I've stayed here several times, normally the road is flooded, and the parking busy, but it has always been a quiet stop for my nearby needs, and it's a lovely walk to East Farleigh: recommended but it's a bit dank!

Really pretty with a gorgeous walk (go left to see all the cute barges). Quite bad phone reception though, and there are only really 2 spots to park.

Lovely little spot next to the river with great walks in both directions. We stayed in November in lockdown and seemed busy with cars and walkers so not sure how summer would be! We are a long wheel base minibus and just managed to turn around in the car park, wouldn’t recommend if you’re any bigger! We’ll defo be back with the paddle boards in the spring! Jx

Nice and quiet place

Ort ist ok, wie in den anderen Kommentaren erwähnt ist der Zug sehr nervig.

Sehr ruhig in einer Sackgasse direkt am Fluss. Aber ein beliebter Parkplatz für Hundebesitzer und Sporttreibende. Ab und zu fährt ein Zug über den naheliegenden Brückenübergang. Nachts sehr ruhig, es gibt einen Mülleimer und es ist viel Platz zum drehen. Die Naheliegenden Anwohner sind sehr gelassen und reden gerne mit einem.

Très moyen pour le van, il y a très peu de place, des dechets et des jeunes qui aiment se posé là. Pour passé la nuit c'est bien, le train est rare et pas très bruyant, mais se posé a côté du véhicule est pas très agréable a moins d'aller au bord de la rivière un peu plus loin

When we arrived there were some no parking cones, we parked on the road at the end by the footpath, arrive late leave early no problem fantastic spot.

Very hard access unless you're in a car. very low trees and a narrow lane. no through lane either and manovering back out is a nightmare. avoid.

A very nice and quiet spot to stay, was even not a problem to park there with our 7,5 meter motorhome. Nice river, cycling and (dog)walking path. Rare train traffic from the early morning, did not really disturbed us.

Not much space. busy with dog walkers and buy a foot bridge. pretty spot thought. stayed just one night.

Place is OK but not the greatest you could find. There is a bridge just above your heads and the train passes there regularly. The noise is awful and can be quite scary at night to be honest. There was at least 10 cars coming and going to this area so not sure whether this is a meeting place a or an area for youngsters to come and drink in their car. Otherwise there is enough place for you to park your van but be mindful of the sign saying that you should leaveaccess clear just in case. This area is at the end of a street (cul de sac). Our night was ok despite the train passing at awful speed.
