A layby about 20 feet from the main road. The road was busy during the evening but went quiet around 10pm. I wasn't disturbed and slept soundly. Nice views. A little bit of rubbish in the bushes but I've seen much worse.
Grande aire de stationnement, quelques arbustes entre vous et la route et légèrement en retrait. Beaucoup de bruit et circulation jour et nuit en été. Beaucoup de midges. Vue sur le loch en entrant dans le sous bois. Possibilité de garer plusieurs véhicules.
Large parking area, some shrubs between you and the road and slightly set back. Lots of noise and traffic day and night in summer. Lots of Midges. View of the loch as you enter the undergrowth. Possibility to park several vehicles.
Großer Parkplatz, einige Sträucher zwischen Ihnen und der Straße und etwas zurückversetzt. Im Sommer Tag und Nacht viel Lärm und Verkehr. Viele Mücken. Blick auf den See, wenn Sie das Unterholz betreten. Möglichkeit, mehrere Fahrzeuge zu parken.

RoyC23/03/2024Stayed here for 1 night (18/10/23) whilst driving the NC500. Beautiful location as parked along side Loch Maree. The main road is close by, but with the trees and high shrubs between us and the road we managed to get a good night's sleep. In October no problem with the midges. Enough room for several campervans, rubbish bins available too.
sflynn08/07/2021Ok as a stopover en-route elsewhere. The views of the loch and beyond are nice, but unless you can't travel further I wouldn't recommend it due to the closeness of the road and traffic noise from 5am onwards. Only bad night's sleep I had on our Scotland trip.
