Large car park, was fine with a 6m van, no trouble on roads leading up to it. Car park itself is quite bumpy and pot holes. Not level but not such an issue for day time parking. There is a weight limit of 3050kg but lots of vans and motorhomes around. Surfers paradise. Dog friendly over winter.
Lovely carpark. Never had an issue parking here in any type of vehicle. Cheap all day parking. Access to river, beach and walks. Toilets, cafe and fossil museum close by. Easily accessed . Only a small narrow bit of road just before the car parks( there are several in a small area) Beautiful views. Fossils and sea glass on beaches. Perfect place for families
Only for smaller vans! 3000kg weight limit in all car parks down by beach and a single track two way road down to beach.
Extremely busy in summer, and dogs are not permitted during summer.
Brilliant location way big enough for Motorhomes and only £5 all day. Well done west Dorset council for such a fair price .
Nice place to spend the day, 5 £ from 8 am to 9 PM. No overnight stays are allowed. 4G works.

No good for heavier Motorhomes as 3 tonne weight limit.
No longer free now £3 for 2 hours or £5 all day parking. Large car park and actually much more space in the top car park in the field although we parked right down the bottom on the water front as didn’t realise it went further back.
Nice in day time , but no parking over night
Car park at the end of the road only takes up to 3 ton, Any larger than you can park in the Coach car park for £1 an hour. Lovely spot
