(GU3 3RN) The Jolly Farmer

Had a lovely stay here very quiet in the night and the Pub Staff were very friendly. No signal on Vodafone but good signal on three. Flat ground and plenty of space with no height restriction adjacent to the unmarked height restricted car park.

It's the second time I've stayed here. Good and safe place next to the forest. Busy road during the day but very quiet at night. Lovely pub owners. Have a meal or a few pints there to thank for your free stay !

Super stop over. Lots of space for bigger motorhomes. We arrived late and were the only ones parked. Nice and flat. Hardly any car noise just birds and a woodpecker.

By a quiet road by night, you can also hear the train line nearby. But I slept very well nonetheless, despite my usually light sleep. Very nice pub and birds singing in the morning. Perfect place

Great spot, stayed for two nights and had a few drinks in the pub. Felt completely safe and the road is quiet at night. for some reason there is no signal in the car park but as soon as you start walking into the common it comes back. WiFi also free in the pub. would definitely stay again.

Hele fijne plek. Heerlijk eten, aardige eigenaren. even gevraagd of ik mocht blijven, was allemaal geen probleem. er zijn 2 parkeerplaatsen, waarvan 1 met hoogte beperking. het kan dus wel druk zijn met wat hogere campers. kom optijd. Ook fijn om met de hond te wandelen.

Great place to stop over friendly staff very quiet on a Monday night. Very little mobile reception but the pub has Wi-Fi which I needed to use. Food and beer good. Help keep rural pubs alive park up and go and have a beer and or food. Dog walkers do start arriving about 7am. Great quiet night with plenty of parking area.

Grosser Parkplatz, nettes pub mit freundlicher Bedienung. Gutes Bier und leckeres Essen. Man kann ohne Probleme mehrere Nächte bleiben. Empfehlenswert

Lovely landlord. Fantastic food. They let me park in the carpark the night before my parkrun in Woking. Very accommodating and I felt very safe.

Car park next to the Jolly Farmer pub. Car park is public so no need to phone the pub. Quite a lot of space but busy with dog walkers during the day. Great dog walks off the parking area. Pub nice and friendly. One other camper there overnight when we stopped. Road quietens down overnight. half of care park has a height barrier and the other half does not. Level ground.

it is a big car park pulled off a road, the pub is big with plenty of space. popped in for a drink and the team were friendly. dog friendly too.

Good spot. Busy road next to the parking lot but it quiets down at night. The pub is a good visit we would recommend their doggy icecream. In the field next door you can hear pheasants all evening. In the morning (especially on weekends) it can be busy with lots of people walking their dog.

Great little spot by a lovely pub. No hight restrictions which is always a relief.

There’s lots more spaces than 10. I would estimate at 30 but spread across the two parking places (one adjacent to the Jolly Farmer and the other with height restriction for the Common). Popped in for some food and a pint, not sure if I’ll stay but definitely worth a visit. Food was fantastic.

Lovely country pub with a big carpark. The overflow car park now has a height restriction but the main one is fine. Pretty quiet except for the occasional car driving by, would stay here again.

it is a lovely place, we had stayed there with our motorhome, but now has a high restriction. Sad.

Lovely little pub with nice food, ended up staying for 3 nights! The overflow car park through the gate is quietest but the pub car park is fine to as I was in and out for food drinks anyway etc

Eigentlich Zwischenstop, dann aber länger geblieben. Viel Platz, sehr ruhig ideal für lange Spaziergänge durch wunderschöne Heide, Wald, Bach Teiche. Pub drinnen und draußen sehr nett gemütlich. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Perfekt, um von außerhalb der LEZ London zu besuchen. Drei Minuten Fahrt zum Bahnhof Worplesdon (keine Höhenbeschränkung, am Wochenende viel Platz), von dort 30 Minuten mit dem Zug nach Waterloo. Sowohl der Pub als auch ein Spaziergang durch den Common lohnen sich.

Leuke en rustige plek vlakbij pub. Groene omgeving. Verderop drukke baan maar ik heb er geen last van gehad. Rustig tijdens de nacht. Vriendelijke eigenaar.

BTW. pub has wifi, there is very poor mobile reception

very quiet location on the edge of a common, pub very dog friendly. carpark is actually the common but recommend eat at the pub. excellent food staff super helpful. keen to welcome fellow campervanners. parking almost perfectly flat and should house 20 cars or so. peaceful night with another large MH.

Stayed for 1 night. Arrived too late for food but had a drink and coffee in the pub, lovely staff. Great parking spot on the Common. Quiet and peaceful with no issues. Plenty of space for several campers. Great spot overall

Lovely peaceful spot right next to the Jolly Farmer pub. At the moment the pub isn’t open on Mondays so there aren’t many cars around then. Nice to pop in for a few drinks and/or some food when it is open. Also Whitmoor common is a lovely place to walk the dog.
