Great site and had the place to ourselves. Lovely views and you just turn up and let yourself in. Electric hook up available too. Lovely clean facilities.
Le John Paul Jones Cottage CL offre un fantastique site pour 5 fourgons sur sol dur situé dans un terrain privé dans la magnifique campagne de Dumfries et Galloway, ouvert toute l'année. Notre CL est à quelques pas de la plage et offre un emplacement rural très paisible tout en ayant à proximité tout ce que vous pourriez désirer tout en profitant de vos vacances reposantes. Notre site dispose de tables de pique-nique offrant une vue fantastique sur la mer surplombant le Lake District et les collines de Cumbrian. Surplombant également le deuxième plus vieux phare d'Écosse. Nous avons également sur place un café qui vend des collations, des rafraîchissements et des glaces.
John Paul Jones Cottage CL offers a fantastic 5 van hardstanding level site set in private grounds in the stunning Dumfries and Galloway countryside which is open all year round.All pitches have electric hook-ups and free WiFi.
Our CL is a short walk away from the beach and offers a very peaceful rural location while having everything close by that you could possibly desire while enjoying your relaxing holiday. Our site has its own tranquil gardens with picnic tables offering fantastic sea views overlooking the Lake District and Cumbrian Hills. Also overlooking the second oldest lighthouse in Scotland which in the summer at the weekends. From the top of the lighthouse you can view all the way over the Solway Coast.
We also have on site a cafe which sells snacks, refreshments and ice creams and The John Paul Jones Birthplace Museum which is a fascinating story.

Ein wundervoller,kleiner Platz für 5 Womos mit Strom,Entsorgung und Frischwasser. Die Zufahrt war abenteuerlich schottisch-wir hätten hier keinen Stellplatz mehr vermutet. Der Platz ist sehr ruhig mit wunderschönem Meerblick. Mit den Velos in 10 min zum Meer. Die Betreiber sind ausgesprochen herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wer Ruhe sucht-hier findet man sie. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.
nicandamber05/09/2022Called on a Sunday and no one answered, but I emailed the site, staff responded quickly and allowed us to park that evening. We had the whole place to ourselves. The site has stunning views, electric hookups, wifi, a greywaste drain and fresh drinking water.
ERIKSEAMAN12/08/2021Lovely spot. About half a mile walk to the beach. Very helpful staff. Toilet spotless. Would have been the quietest place I have stayed but cable layers started work at 6.30a.m. and the noise was deafening. I had intended to visit the small museum and Arbigland Gardens on site but left because of the work going on! No facility for washing dishes (or faces!) Well worth a visit.
