Lovely quiet spot. We spoke to friendly locals who were swimming and fishing on the pier. Plenty of mackerel caught btw. The nearest shop is Killala so bring everything you need.There’s a tap and an outside shower on the pier as well as a portaloo. It’s a great starting point for some lovely walks. Don’t leave without walking Kilcummin Head. I’ll definitely return here.
KevClarc31/07/2022Nice quite park up in the small car park by the Quay. Nice view over Killala bay. Pretty flat room for about four vans. Very quiet & felt very safe. Clean porta loo fresh water tap on side of harbour wall under outdoor shower. The pub above the harbour is now closed unfortunately, but there is a coffee van there in the day.
