Ottimo spot, in mezzo agli alberi, tranquillissimo. Nel primo slargo non ci sono tante buche per terra e il parcheggio è in piano. Un po' di midges al tramonto ma niente di grave.

Good basic stop over. Toilets and showers. 50p and £2 respectively between 8am and 4pm payable at the cafe next to the lock. Uneven ground but no issue for a normal van. Will struggle in a longer motorhome or very high vehicle.

like it's made for it, quiet and easy. Also looks to be options for shower and toilet for a small fee at the kiosk by the loch. Maybe even boat supplies like gas bottles.

Die Einfahrt ist sehr holprig und schmal. Der Parkplatz selbst ist in einige Segmente geteilt und unter Bäumen. Es ist sehr ruhig, obwohl die Strasse sehr nahe ist. Je nach dem hat der kleine Kiosk bei der Schiffsschleuse geöffnet.

De plek is erg rustig en gratis en overnachten is toegestaan.

Lovely views of the mountains/lock/loch. Few potholes but can park around them. Quiet. Eagle barge boat comes Wed-Sun (in season) so we missed it. Bins available. Did a litter pick as very messy in the wooded bit. Good data.

park is full of potholes but it was a nice quite place to stay and good place to walk the dog. highly recommend

car park is full of potholes but is sheltered from the wind. stayed a couple of nights. the only noise was the wind in the trees. there's a dog poo bin by the lock and in season toilets and showers are available. good Internet signal on 02 and Vodafone and the 2 minute walk to the lock gives a great view out.

Erg rustige plek. Ver genoeg van de drukke straat. Prima plek voor een nachtje.

Great little wooded park up close to the locks. Cafe (daytime) and pub (Weds - Sun til 10pm) on site and the Eagle Inn pub-on-a-barge is fantastic, cozy and with great beers. Note the pub might look dark and shut but may well be open so worth checking the door carefully. Park up is slightly muddy but not an issue and lots of space in three parking areas. Quiet despite closeness to main road.

Quiet wooded car park tucked just off the A82, great pitstop location. Discreet areas around to park by and set up portaloo and pop-up tent! About 8 other campervans there the night we stayed. Locks lovely to sit by or walk along the canal.

Stayed last night, just one other person sleeping in a car so very quiet night and not bothered any road noise. Very nice walk as well and beautiful area. There are bins but it states for harbour users.

Slightly muddy but quiet spot well off the road close to the canal locks. Ideal for a night.

Arrived about 7:30pm, about 4 other vehicles parked up. Quite muddy due to the recent rainfall. Slept well in VW camper. Wanted to visit the boat restaurant but it was closed ( Easter weekend) toilets are there but used for the marina only ( with a key) but there was a drinking water tap here. Marina bin area which we used. Flat area and quiet

Aparcamiento perfecto al lado del pub, que es muy agradable y recomendable. Llegamos a las 19:00 y solo quedaban 2 o 3 sitios

Large parking space which is flat and sheltered by trees. Lot's of space for many smaller campers. Eagle Barge Inn is a very short walk away offering drinks and pub grub. It is a very unique setting as the pub is in a boat. Road noise was virtually non existent, however, depending on how busy the site is, there may be the noise of other campers to contend with.

Espace accessible aussi aux grands camping-cars. Coin relativement tranquille malgré la proximité de la route. Terrain plat, écluse sympathique à côté. Rien d’extraordinaire.

Small level car park with spaces big enough for our 7.4m van. Next to a canal. No services. Quiet. Good 4G on EE. Eagle Barge Inn (boat pub) closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

super schön gelegen. ganz nah zur Straße, doch kaum Straßenlärm zu hören. es ist super ruhig und friedlich hier. absolut zu empfehlen.

Nice and quiet place for a stop over, there is a boat used as a place to eat or a refreshment or two but we didn't try it as it was just a quick sleep over for us. I walked our two dogs and enjoyed the views of the canal and the loch. Very safe place to park up for the night and we would definitely stay again when we are in the area

In dieser schon im Mai durch Wohnmobile stark frequentierten Region Great Glen ist es toll, solch einen angenehmen und ruhigen Platz an der Laggan Schleuse zu finden. Am Sonntag war das Café auf dem Schiff geöffnet, in strahlender Sonne ein Erlebnis. Am Abend war der Platz mit 10 Mobilen allerdings an seiner Kapazitätsgrenze.

I loved it here. Quiet and away from the road. Lots to see such as locks on the canal, boats in the harbour and the bonus of floating pub (opening times of pub are on above photo). Surrounded by trees and nature too. Great place to stay.

Stayed here for one night with three motorhomes and 4 other campervans and a tent. Quite quiet night even though very close to main road. Great Green Way runs along the Laggan Locks. Bar wasn’t open the night we stayed.

Sehr ruhig und ohne Probleme konnten wir hier die Nacht verbringen. Das Cafe hatte leider geschlossen und so mussten wir selber Kochen.

Lovely quite spot road down is narrow no problem for vans maybe tight for motor homes

A lovely spot for staying, it has no facilities. There is a pub/restaurant on a barge, about a 5-10 minute walk on the canal. The pub/restaurant is closed Monday & Tuesday. Keep it clean, take your rubbish with you!!!!

Obytne auto 7m v pohode. Klidne misto na spani. U zdymadla je pitna voda.

Parking proche de la route mais on n'entend pas le bruit. La proximité de l'écluse permet d'aller se promener le long de l'eau. On ne voit juste pas le lac depuis le parking et le chemin qui y mène n'est pas super propre

Parking para 4 campers aprox. Sin ruidos, tranquilo, al lado de una esclusa. Hay un bar en un barco, cercano.

Après le 1er parking nous avons continué les chemins ( 50m) et avons passé la nuit sur le 2eme petit parking, au calme, tout près de la rivière, pas de gêne concernant la route de l'autre côtés,poubelle juste après le pont, attention quelques moustiques.

Petit parking sans interdiction d y dormir près du lac et du pub de l écluse. La route principale ne gêne en rien nous allons y passer la nuit. Bien droit

Chouette petit parking, nous nous y sommes installés pour manger et faire une sieste. Pas de panneau indiquant qu'on ne peut pas y passer la nuit. Il y avait déjà 8 voitures parquées et j'ai pu garer mon motorhome de 8m et un autre est venu s'installer dans le prolongement.

Ruhiger Waldparkplatz, bestehend aus 3 hintereinanderliegenden Freiflächen. Untergrund Schotter mit Pfützen. Für eine Übernachtung mit Campingbus völlig ok. Der Verkehr auf der Straße ist nur schwach zu hören.

We got our 9m motorhome in here. Lovely secluded spot. Can hear road noise in daytime.

Quiet wooded car park, 7.2m Moho no problem, room for about 5. No signs saying no overnight parking. Seems to be a Scottish Waterways car park just to the east of Laggan Locks. There are toilets by the lock but key entry only and no longer general public use.

Effectivement sympathique et tranquille. Beaucoup d'insectes, moustiquaire conseillée. Possibilité de faire un feu. Et le must douche toilette de l'autre côté de l'écluse. Demander la clé à la capitainerie, c'est gratuit.
