Great stop over on our trip. Quiet spot with really clean toilet, hook up available too. Very reasonably priced, what more do you want. There are less and less spots to stop in Scotland, Wish there were more places like this. Within walking distance of town.
Nice little site , nice views and fair priced. Toilets are clean . Good access to the little town few pups and restaurants . I’d say the biggest complaint I have is no chemical toilet disposal point with signage saying don’t put it in the toilets

Aire de camping du bowling club. Se règle avec une « honesty box », les sanitaires sont propres. Pas de possibilité de vider les eaux grises et les toilettes, mais nous avons rempli notre tank d’eau. La ville est mignonne et se visite facilement à pied.

Lovely quiet place to stay for the night. There were reserved signs but we chanced it and bagged a night there and glad we did as no one else came on. £12 with no hook up was ok more would say £10 a night with no services as for this I would have expected to have a place to empty my loo and for the onsite toilet to have loo roll lol. Great wee stop off though.
Actually very bad! We arrived at 1pm to find that ALL spaces had "reserved" signs on them, meaning noone could just arrive and park up. Such a stupid idea because people who need to use the services (e.g electricity) can't if they didn't reserve a space. These sites should be first come first serve! Spaces 7 & 8 block the water filling services. Not well thought out at all. Would not recommend.
Amazing little find - super friendly in the village shop where I paid £15 with electric hookup for the night. Immaculate toilets with water & rubbish bins. Five other vans alongside but doesn’t feel at all over crowded. Definitely one for the saved ‘favourites’ list!
Superb overnight stop. Paid in village store. Short walk to The Still land installation with great views of the Glen. Local shops have good value local products. EHU good value. Very clean facilities and would use again.
We stop here to charge our van (donation is appreciated) and to lunch in the village. It was appreciated because there is not do much facilities around. Perfect spot to have a logistical stop and for night too. Village is cute.
Great stop over recommend you try this very close to town and fabulous views of rolling countryside.
Quiet night, flat car park. Toilets are super clean and water accessible, if there are campers on the pitches 7&8, you’ll need a long hose to access the water and fill your tank. There is no chemical disposal thought. We laid £15 for pitch and electric and paid in the village store on card. Very quiet town in September, restaurant, small shop and hotel all seems open though.
Nice stop over, clean toilets, and a great quiet night, But strange layout, pitch 8 blocks the tap so you can’t fill up with water. And pitch 3 blocks pitch 2 in so they can’t leave. Also they want an extra £5 per charge if you charge an ebike battery. This is on top of the £3 for a hook up. All very strange

Wonderful peaceful campervan site in the bowling club car park area ,£15 with power ,ideal for cairngorms national park or Royal deeside ,picnic area and beautiful views ,honesty box on the door ,il be back ,ideal and very well maintained

Sind bei Ankunft sehr nett empfangen worden weil auch gerade Training war. Der Platz ist geschottert, sehr gepflegt und liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe von verschiedenen Pups. Einzig, das man nur Cash zahlen kann ist ein kleines Manko. Ein Besuch der gleichnamigen Distillery sollte dennoch mit auf dem Programm stehen.
Ruhig gelegener Platz mit acht Stellplätzen. Wasser und Elektrizität vorhanden, keine Entsorgung von Grauwasser und Toilette. Besitzer sehr freundlich. Fairer Preis, alles war sauber. Waren am Abend im Glenavon Pub, auch sehr zu empfehlen, drei Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.
Einziger Stellplatz in diese schönen Gegend für 8 Mobile, also früh da sein. Toiletten sind sauber. Leider gibt es keine Grauwasser und Toilettenentsorgung. Eine Dusche wäre auch schön, dann gebe es von mir 5 Sterne. Platz 12 mit Strom 15 Pfund. ck

A very nice place to stop. £12 with out hook up £15 with, honesty box, or pay at village store by card. 5 mins walk to village, restaurants, shops etc. 8 level pitches all with hook up, water and toilet facilities for those staying the night, clean and well kept. Looses a point as no black or grey waste disposal! Nice grass area with picnic tables. Would definitely recommend it.
lovely place, ehu available, clean heated toilets, great views, very peaceful, email ahead to reserve spot, limited spaces, £15 with electric £12 without. Some shops but very limited, most places are selling up it seems. Top Tip - a chippy van comes to town once a week at 4pm on a Tuesday, a must of your here the night.

Nice wee stop over supporting the local bowling club. Toilets on site open all night, no hot water but very clean. £12 a night, £15 with hook up payable to a honesty box or you can pay by card at the village Post Office. Tomintoul itself is great wee village with a couple of shops, restaurant, hotel & bar and cafes. Worth a peek in the whisky shop just to see the vast selection on offer.

Wir standen hier für eine Nacht. Toiletten waren sauber, es war ruhig und wir fühlten uns wohl. Da wir keinen Strom brauchten, haben wir die 12 £ in die bereitgestellten Briefcouvets und anschließend in den dortigen Briefkasten geworfen. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Really good value, views from the peaceful pitch were gorgeous and it's a lovely wee village with playgrounds, a couple of shops selling everything you could think of and decent bar meals in the hotel.

Brilliant place. Free hookup. Free water. £15 a night. flat ground if not level. Lovely people too. Only 8 on site at one time. Very busy in summer according to the manager. Early May we just touched up and parked. Definitely be coming back.

Stayed here for one night, Absolutely spectacular spot with great facilities and fantastic views. As far as value for money goes this place is hard to beat at £12 with electronic hook up ! Would highly recommend.
Close to road but great spot for toilets and tap use and bins - honesty box on the outside wall! You can also pay by card at the local shop. Very nice to see how welcome vans are in The glenlivet estate. Thank you! Keep it clean and be respectful :)
A good spot for an overnight. Could be improved with showers and waste disposal but still a cheap and peaceful overnight. Good chip van on Thursday
Excellent provision - immaculate toilets, good views, all handstanding. We just stopped for water and made an appropriate contribution before travelling on. Thank you Tomintoul, we need more like you.
Fantastic place, great idea as we spent over £100 in the local shops and hotels. We need a lot more of these places in the villages around Scotland. Well done to those involved
Lovely site. Well done to the locals for providing this. Hope people don't abuse their efforts. Fills up quickly and it seems you can reserve places, but not sure how.
Now £8 per night or £12 with electricity. A bargain. Honesty box on the wall or pay at the village store. Yes you could park for free elsewhere in Tomintoul but why would you when you are welcome here and your stay benefits a community group? Oh, they have recycling bins too.

Can't fault it, clean toilet and dry hard standing and 2 minutes walk to all the village pubs. You're essentially paying £10 just for the electricity as the public car park in the centre has a great public toilet but the site is still worth £10 any day.
This is a fantastic stop over.. £10 in the honesty box that includes electric. perfect location if wanting to ski in the Lecht ski park. lovely wee town. The food in the glenavon was brilliant. would definitely return and support the local community.
Can’t recommend this enough. Great site with EHU (£10 per night), water, disposal, WC. It’s a credit to the Bowling Club members. More villages should adopt this model. Will definitely be back.

Great little place to stop. We paid £10 for hookup. Clean toilets and nice views. Only a few minutes walk to the nearest pub, we went to the Richmond Arms and they had free pool and juke box.
I prefer to hold camp but this was Fantastic nights stay great views and good value for money £10 with hook up and £7 without, but you need to pay by cash. clean toilets and fresh water. A short walk into the village also there is a nice bird hide close by if you like bird watching. I will stay here again if in the area.

Absolut empfehlenswert. Klasse Stellplatz für kleines Geld. Einzig Abwasser ist nur mit Schlauch möglich. Ansonsten für 10 Pfund keine Frage. Das Engagement des Clubs muss unterstützt werden.

Lovely quiet spot, lots of wildlife around - deer, oyster catchers, lapwings, hares - good facilities in the village, hot water in the toilet, electric hook-up available - £10 with, £7 without. Level hard-standings. Highly recommended. Use it and support the local community.
