Großer Platz mit zum Teil sehr schöner Aussicht. Die detaillierten Regeln, die eigentlich Privatsphäre, Ruhe und Naturnähe garantieren sollen, werden von den meisten Gästen einfach ignoriert. Wenn gelegentlich mal Personal da ist, kümmert es sich nicht darum. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt außerdem nicht. Unbedingt mit Vorräten anreisen - der nächste Laden ist etwa 6 km entfernt.

Easy to book and lovely views of the lake. Loads of space and a field to park in if you arrive late. Disappointed the toilets were closed ‘due to COVID’ but otherwise a good spot.
Fab site, loads of space - you really can get away from it all. It's so nice to not have to park in regular rows.
Very nice spacious site - very well maintained, and lovely views. Staff seemed very chilled. We just pulled up, and booked in locally with a member of staff, didn’t seem to be a problem. All good!
This is a beautiful setting. Easy to find. Grey water disposal, two Elsan waste points and fresh water points. The views are stunning and loads of space.
Although we live down the road we went to try out our van conversion for the first time. So peaceful and with lovely views.

Lovley campsite. Brilliant views over Rutland water. We saw this campsite as we drove past and decided to turn back and stay. it is easier to book online than phoning and you receive an email with the gate code. only a small amount of people here when we visited. would definitely stay here again.
We’ve just arrived here, we’re in a American 32ft motor home.. no problems what so ever.. booked on line, got a gate code and parked straight up. 2 pubs within walking distance. We can see the water and walk routes from where we are parked.
Really lovely place to stay. Wardens very welcoming and regularly check all the fields. Peaceful for most of our stay. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning. Chocks needed on some of the lower fields.
Large site in great location, easy to find and with fantastic views over Rutland Water. Secure access controlled by barrier, if warden is not on site there is a contact phone number (very helpful man on phone!). Has all facilities except EHU. Some hard standings available in case of poor weather.

Currently on site on a CCC DA rally. Great field, well kept. Easy to find and great views. Will be back!
