Stayed overnight a couple of times, good view, bits to explore after dinner/breakfast (you can kill an hour tops). Hard to beat on a full moon or for star gazing. Bit muddy, bit bumpy, but well out of the way. 3/5 phone reception & 4G (giffgaff/O2).

Great place to stay, here in winter so had the place to ourselves. Quiet location at the end of the road only a few dogs walkers in the morning.

Beautiful walks here would highly recommend. Unable to see views when in camper due to sea walls, but worth a visit. We stayed down the road (Ferry road) for a park space with a sunset view.

On our second night here. Great little find! Would recommend if you want a quite stay where you can hear the sea. Excellent walks in the morning too.

Nice spot very quiet apart from the sounds of nature. a few other vans here too. it was pretty stormy in the night but we lowered the pop top and had a pretty decent night. lovely walks along the sea wall. ww2 ruins onsite which is of interest to me. we will come again

Great spot, stayed on my own for one night, a few other campers around, secluded and quiet. Great location for a walk and a morning dip! Would recommend!

What a great find. We went for our first overnight stay here and it was so quiet, Well peaceful and relaxed. Plenty of space to park, free, beautiful scenery, waking up hearing the wildlife, birds and waves. Plenty of walking space for dogs and bike rides. I don’t know if I’d want to sleep alone here as very secluded. Fisherman started turning up between 7 and 8. Dog walkers also. It also has a lot of history behind it. Starts to get busier around 10.30am but everyone we spoke to or was around was very friendly and said hi. We only done one night but we will be going back again.

We stayed one night here & it was very quiet & lovely - sounds of the sea - no amenities but lots of bins & wildlife! Fisher people leaving early hours but apart from that great!

Lovely views, great walks and very peaceful as no traffic. There were a few fishermen early hours and there is no charge with plenty of room. No facilities except for bins.

Stayed for one night. Peaceful night, fantastic views and worth getting up for sunrise! No faculties, but plenty of bins to get rid of rubbish.

Nice place to park for the night, very near to the beach. Car park busy during weekends, arrived at 2pm and very lucky to find a space. Drive down to the spot is a single file road but with good passing places. Some kids around in evening but they weren't idiots, didn't feel uncomfortable.

Stayed last Friday night, one other camper present. Some local kids turned up around 11pm revving their engines, chatting, and catching up with their mates but they didn't bother anyone and left again 20 min later. Peaceful night otherwise.

I came here yesterday evening around 2030 no issues beautiful place to relax during the day or go for a walk about. Has an interesting history so worth checking that out too. Slept really well here, I'm on my own and no other campers, a few young folk were here until late but they were no issue at all. It's worth a trip if you're looking for some sea, peace and fresh air

Great spot although someone pulled up next to us around 1am and went round the van with a torch. The dog barked and they soon left. Other than that lovely spot good walks and beautiful views

Not a good place for a lone camper. On a Tuesday night, kids in cars, very unnerving, noise and let off fireworks next to our van. If there are a few campers then safety in numbers or else you will find it hard to sleep. Also, person taking number plate photos outside. When confronted, denied. Roads inbound are one lane, so leaving when dark is not advised. So we stayed but potential threat from young people make this not a good stopover.

Excellent free car park, large enough for 10 or so campers, easily. a few cars coming and going late evening but peaceful afterwards until the morning!

Quiet spot next to a nice beach, we were alone overnight (August bank holiday) but very busy with birdwatchers the next morning.

Super schöner Platz! Wir sind allerdings nicht über Nacht geblieben, weil es uns zu abgelegen war. Es lohnt sich auch nur einen Abstecher an den Platz zu machen.
