Brilliant parking space, with brilliant forest walk, within driving distance to every super market you could need.. including paper shops. also within short distance to a few pubs for lunch. brilliant parking space. a lot of dog walkers coming and going but that's it. boy racers and bikes passing but if you don't mind road noise you will love this spot. x

We had to sleep in our car to break up a very long journey. Arrived after 10pm and had place to ourselves. Police visited at half 2 but happy that we were OK and sleeping with a child in the car. Morning dog walkers arrived from 6 and weren't quiet about us staying there.

Stayed for one night and was alone here. Lots of people walking their dogs, and as there is a roundabout very near, it can be quite noisy. I slept well, though.

Bruyant et sans charme. Beaucoup de promeneurs de chien et de demi remorque qui passe sur les routes environnantes. Dépanne bien malgré tout.

Nice park up but constant noise from road(trucks, cars and boy/girl racers). I wouldn’t advise parking here if you a lone campervan. We had a strange encounter at about 0330am, someone parked up and then walked beside our van. Probably a one off but be aware.

Lovely spot just off main road in Heathhall Forest. nice walk through maintained forest path. parking for 12 cars, less if vans/ motorhomes. Take your rubbish home. Let down by local dog owners thinking the poo fairy cleans up after their dogs. Easy to spot the locals, they use the break a stick & flick their dogs poo into the bushes.

Great place for windy nights - it’s well sheltered by the forest. Yes, we did hear the road at night, but the noise was very consistent and didn’t bother us. We were just really grateful to be out of the wind! The place wasn’t dirty when we were there. Wish we had more time to explore the woods, it looked really pretty, but had to leave early.

Close to a main road but does quieten down about 10 ish. Immaculately clean and a beautiful place to walk the dogs. Has a bin too, will definitely stop here again
