Just parked up for night before going to Linnhope spout waterfall tomorrow. Loads of room tarmac road. Seems quiet enough?
Place de pique-nique à l'écart de la route principale. Idéal pour une escale pour les véhicules de toutes tailles. Calme pendant la nuit. La route est animée, mais les arbres et les arbustes créent une barrière. Tables de pique-nique sur un côté. Certaines sections sont plates, bien que la plupart des endroits nécessitent des rampes de mise à niveau.
Picnic spot in lay-by set back from the main road. Great for a stopover for vehicles of all sizes. Quiet during the night. Road is busy but trees and bushes create a barrier. Picnic tables along one side. Some sections are flat, though most spots require levelling ramps.
Picknickplatz abseits der Hauptstraße. Ideal für einen Zwischenstopp für Fahrzeuge aller Größen. Nachts ruhig. Die Straße ist stark befahren, aber die Bäume und Sträucher bilden eine Barriere. Picknicktische auf einer Seite. Einige Abschnitte sind flach, obwohl die meisten Stellen Nivellierrampen erfordern.

fine fir a stop. pretty overgrown but you can get tucked in. we were on our own. main road quiet after 23.00. there was a bin as a bonus

Road quiet overnight, you won’t be disappointed, room for 4 or 5 vans, it too far from wooler for good food and drinks, the black bull is a nice cosy pub with classic pub grub! There’s a coop open 7am until 11pm for essentials! Would recommend this spot. No facilities.
Radquiff30/05/2022Picnic tables/chairs a bit ropey. Traffic noise not bad. However, bird scarer making 3 gunshot noises every hour - loud enough to wake me a couple of times. Took me a while to work out what it was, initially thought my engine cooling down after it had overheated. Maybe a good idea to use in a season when the birds are no longer a seed/cotyledon eating problem.
SidecarSue05/08/2021Perfectly ok for a transit stop. Road noise didn’t bother us and the views are lovely. Make sure to park sensibly to allow trucks to pass in the lay-by.
