Arrived late evening to no one taking payment for parking. Went for a wlak on the beach and when I came back to the van a local asked if I was camping, he then gave me tips on where to park as most of the beach/parking floods when the tide is high. Stayed the night and even had a few others join. Woke up to car park filling up with day visitors, didn't get asked to pay or hassled by anyone.

Great place to stay during the day in the van. Wonderful views and walks along the dunes and beaches. £2 to park for the day. The ranger told us there is no overnight parking but didn't give a time of when we should leave the site.

Day parking on the sand at the very end of the road. This is a nature reserve. Dogs allowed on lead around the estuary and off lead on the beach itself. Great spot for a long beach walk and to spend a few hours. No overnight parking allowed which is fair enough given it's a reserve. I'm just grateful for being allowed here with van and dogs during the day.

30/8/20 We parked here last night. Arrived around 6.30 -7pm. It is a huge space and I think there were around 10 vans parked. Beautiful sunset and stunning sunrise. This morning a ranger walked around and spoke to everyone in the vans. He told us that we should not be camped and asked if we could leave by 5pm please. I think we would chance staying there again.
