Large lay-by on the road into Ullapool. No facilities, but OK for a short overnight before getting the ferry in the morning. Close to road so can be noisy, but far enough away to not be dangerous. Used by lorries as well as camper vans.

Huge parking space. We stayed overnight. Some cars drove by because it’s directly at the side of the road but that didn’t bother us. The insects did though so prepare for that. :)

We stayed 10th October. This is a Great spot. Only 0.9 mile walk back into Ullapool and footpath all the way. busy road by day but after dark it got very quiet. Slept like a log from 11pm to 7:30am. Little road noise and Felt very safe. Would definitely recommend. We went back into Tesco Ullapool next morning for shopping, before travelling into Skye.

Quiet spot. Large lay by off main road overlooking Loch Broom. Several other Campers parked up. Close to Ullapool and ferry link. Bins

A good spot away from the road. Busy with campers. Sheltered by trees. Bins but no toilets. Perfect spot if getting a ferry from Ullapool, it’s all just under 5 minutes away. Reception on Three. Stopped 27.09.21.

Nice lay-by just outside Ullapool, garage nearby busy road in the day but quiet at night, rubbish bins provided too.

Great overnight stop, quiet and no disturbances. Saw quite a few other suitable place as we left and drove down the road some next to the loch which looked good also.

Good free spot for overnight parking with only a short walk into town. Relatively quiet at night and is on a slight slope but not too bad.

Great lay-by spot for an early Ullapool visit and good stop to ensure you get a spot on the great campsite in Ullapool Broomfield site which is another I would recommend

The last ferry arrives at 12 at night so the traffic coming up the hill was loud after that a very peaceful night. It’s a large lay-by and flat, a short walk into town.

Plenty of spaces, when I parked up there were 2 other campervans. My car was on a slight slope, nothing to major. 2 minute drive to the toilets in Ullapool.

Quiet place, loads of space and a couple of bins. We parked 90 degrees to the road which seems like a more sensible way to park and allow more spaces, nearly level.

A really pleasant stop over to be honest. Road noise passing through but died down over night and we were joined by a sheep lorry in the early hours. It is sloping and you will need chocks. Lots of room and lots of space - at a guess space for 15 at least. Bins for rubbish and handy because there are showers nearby in Ullapool.
