Good Park up, I can imagine on a clear day the views are stunning. We walked about 35mins up the stoney path & down to The Barrel Inn. On a Saturday night is was very busy with people booked for dinner. So, advise to-prebook if you want to eat there. Busy with dog walkers in the morning, but no bother.

Had to detour as original place the road was closed. Got here at 4am after working a bar. Woke to great views. Few cars and green loaners on motorbikes. But that was after 9am.

Really great spot. Realistically space for 3-4 vans. Great that it is off the main road (can’t remember seeing a car on it anyway) and in a little lane. Was so peaceful with stunning views all round.

Quiet place with some signal for O2, slightly uneven but manageable. Would highly recommend

some cars every few minutes but this died right down after 9pm and very quiet night. was one of the 4 vans there :-) walkers in the morning were friendly, no one seemed to mind us there.

Excellent place for a night. A couple of dog walkers only and three other vans made it safe.

Lovely quiet place to stay, even in the morning it wasn’t busy with dog walkers. Many walks start from here. It says to keep dogs in leads from 1st April so they don’t disturb ground nesting birds.

Good views, and very quiet on a sunny Saturday evening. Road noise intermittent until 11ish then quiet. Gets busy quickly with walkers in the am.

Great spot. Bit quieter in the mornings than the other (more popular) site at the other end of Sir William Hill Road. Sheltered from wind

Took the kids out for a one night kip (we're local). Great spot with a pretty quiet road. We've got a larger van and had no problems with access on the road. Please respect the locals and keep it tidy.

Beautiful place to stay for a night. 20 mins walk into Eyam, a very interesting and educational village. We also saw a family of deer!

Ideal spot for the night. Nice view everywhere and somehow makes me feel secure camping on my own. The only negative is it is not leveled but for a night is ok

Always a briljant place. Multiple lay-bys and a briljant view. in total 20+ campers / vans can easily park here. I hope the extensive Camping behaviours however don’t cause sleeping here to be banned in the future.

A lovely quiet spot with a big area for a few vans. Good night sleep and not too busy in the morning with walkers.

Perfect for us -views & no amenities. A few walkers turned up Saturday am.

Nice spot, good views, gets a fair few walkers from around 8.30am on a Sunday morning

Lovely spot, busy during daytime but that’s to be expected when there’s so many fantastic walks! The view is stunning, what a green and pleasant land we have!

Very quiet place, only an occasional car passing by. Great views.
