Fine spot for the night, lots of dog walkers is only negative. Otherwise level and enjoyable quiet night. No sign of alleged patrols, and if they did I’d politely tell them to go away. As no parking restrictions or signs present so legally park just like anywhere else. Previous reviewer clearly needs to stand up for themselves!

This is now being patrolled by highways who will move you on. Got woken at 3am being told not to park on highway within Kent! Took details of our van and said if spotted on roadside again they will take out an injunction and seize our van. Made a dash for M20 services for rest of night!

Nice quiet stop, gps coordinates are accurate, Google maps had us at a private driveway! good stop for us after using the tunnel.

Very good place for difficult Maidstone area. Conveniently close to Leeds Castle. No trouble whatsoever.

Arrived late evening & one other motorhome parked. Site as described, thankyou for posting. We had a really good nights sleep... a few cars turned up around 11pm but soon left. Dog walkers & workers arrived early morning, no real problems apart from one miserable old biddy walking her dog, looked directly into the motorhome and made her displeasure at seeing overnight stays heard but we took no notice, she probably does the same thing every morning, it’s her little release for the day ... ha

4 stars for being exactly as described. It's a bit of quiet parking on a road that dead ends into a nature park (people come to walk their dogs in the morning, including an off duty cop with a police dog!). No services though there is a large trash can at the park entrance. Quiet overnight and no one bothered us.
