We continued another 50 metres or so down the road to be further from the houses, but I recommend stopping at the end of the gravel road and walking to check that it's passable for your vehicle. Was fine for our campervan but only just! Two locals drove past and waved, and a goat herder also said it's fine to stay. Nice walks through the forest down to a meadow at the bottom of the hill.
