Stopped here last night, like previous feedbacks beautiful woodland walk and children’s park at the top of the car park including waterfall. Shops close by. Beach and train station towards bottom of car park, children’s park & skate park on promenade. Super quiet from 10pm. We got a “chippy tea” last night staff were lovely & super cheap. Great for an overnight stay.

Very quiet park. Walked up to village and enjoyed a visit to the museum, pub and chip shop. Locals very friendly and helpful

We stayed for 1 night which was spot on for what we wanted. Quiet & close to beach for a nice evening walk. We had dogs so the wooded area next to the car park was great for them.

Convenient free spot with no restrictions slightly sloping, spaces quite small but its a very quiet car park so if you overhang you arent in anyones way, locals dont mind. Easy walk to beach and up into town

Nice spot as a last resort, wouldn't stay more than a night or two, ground wasn't the flattest but we made do. 5 minute walk alway from the sea front.

Stayed for one night on my way back up North. Pretty bog standard spot. Did the trick quiet undisturbed night. No barriers or signs. There's a few flattish spots. Beach and town in walking distance.

great stop for a night or two,no restrictions and only a short walk to the beech which has a promenade that goes on for quite a long way which is ideal for walking the dogs

little bit of car noise. there are a few flat places. A tunnel straight to the beach. there you will find a toddlers pool where there is a cold shower.

  • 4/5

Very convenient location. Free car park used by locals. Quite small spaces though plenty of room towards the back. Slight incline. Good 4G. Not well lit at night. Would recommend for a night.

So far so good, slight road noise, it’s a dark car park, other MoHo here but not sure if have people in them! Level is ok, it is free after all, OS maps say nice walks around

Parked here for the night, no machinery now thankfully. Generally quiet bearing in mind its a train station carpark. As you can see in the original picture, the ground is on a bit of a slope so expect to be on a slight angle. Never the less, we and our 1.5 year old baby slept very well. Thanks for sharing! No height barrier, no signs for overnight parking & no cameras clocking you in and out.

Half of car park with construction equipment. The rest of spaces full.

A place of mixed bags really . Surrounding routes are brilliant , 2 mins walk from the beach 5 min walk up the hill you have a little village with a spar shop and a few take-aways shops .. the actual car park isn’t easy on the eye , But we was tucked up in the corner by a tree . I don’t know if we picked the wrong weekend but a house over the road from the car park the occupants we’re in the garden having a party right through the night since 6 when we arrived and still hitting volumes at midnight . Twice through the night we had people / groups walking through the car park shouting and laughing . In the end we packed up and left just after midnight. We won’t be risking it here again...

Very quiet spot even on a Saturday night, tucked out the way. Next to a green space and 2 min walk to the beach. Toilets at the beach hit and miss, 30p for the close ones or free ones down the other end of the beach. They were open when we arrived late Saturday afternoon but closed 9am on Sunday!
