On the spot fines come early morning regardless of where you're parked.

Now illegal for overnight parking as is the larger car park, roadside and lay-by. Automatic £75 fine. Being enforced by local authority VERY early morning hours.

Great spot to park up really close to the beach and there were no signs when we arrived last night. But when we woke up this morning there was a man putting up a no overnight parking sign unfortunately! Seems we got in on the last night before it was officially banned.

We've stayed here many times. no restrictions as yet. June 2021.

Overnight parking ban enforced from 02 June 2021. Got to congratulate National Trust on complete short-sightedness following 1 year of lock down, banning everyone including surfers, ie the people who help keep the dunes and beach litter free. There is now zero places overnight where you can park up in sight of the surf. National Trust approved sight nearby, great view of the oil refinery there.

Tres bien, personne (vide) la nuit. Le jour il y a énormément de monde qui passe, parking plein(promeneur, spot surf et kitsurf, doger) Arriver avant 9h30 ou apres 19h30 si vous voulez avoir la chance d'avoir une place.
