Currently parked here, lovely quiet spot, some traffic on main road, perfect spot for ferry to Orkney in the morning as Scrabster very busy with vehicles
Parking forestier avec emplacement pour 4 camping-cars. Bancs de pique-nique. Poubelles pour déjections canines uniquement. À côté de la route A9, donc un peu de bruit de la route. Surface de stationnement plane et sèche. Jeudi 15 minutes. Gare maritime de Scrabster à 20 minutes. Deux belles promenades depuis le parking autour de 340 000 arbres nouvellement plantés.
Forestry car parking with space for 4 campers. Picnic benches. Waste bins for dog poo only. Next to A9 road so some road noise. Flat and dry parking surface. Thurso 15 minutes. Scrabster ferry terminal 20 minutes. Two lovely walks from car park around newly planted 340,000 trees.
Forstparkplatz mit Platz für 4 Wohnmobile. Picknickbänke. Abfallbehälter nur für Hundekot. Neben der A9, daher etwas Straßenlärm. Flache und trockene Parkfläche. Donnerstag 15 Minuten. Fährterminal Scrabster 20 Minuten. Zwei schöne Spaziergänge vom Parkplatz rund um neu gepflanzte 340.000 Bäume.

Nice stop over, very peaceful over night, lots of space with picnic benches, highly recommended
Rosalandei07/10/2023Ein schöner Platz mit der Möglichkeit angrenzend mit dem Hund zu gehen. Nachts ist die Straße wenig befahren. Wie immer den Müll aufgesammelt und den Apell an alle keinen Müll zu hinterlassen und am besten den Müll aufzusammeln um das Image der Wohnmobilfahrer zu verbessern.
douglasncadams31/07/2023Next to A9 and 15 minutes from Thurso and 20 minutes from Scrabster ferry terminal. A Forest and Land Scotland car park for two forest walks. No facilities. Bins are for dog poo only. Picnic tables. Flat and dry gravel surfaces. We were the only campervan tonight.
FrenchyLeVan18/07/2023Large flat gravel parking lot in a pretty country setting. Few dog walkers in the afternoon and morning and we were all alone at night. Very quiet, road doesn’t have much traffic. Good phone signal.

Great level spot for an overnight with walking trails. Plenty of space. Highly recommend if passing through.
Francois636316/06/2023Lieu de bivouac à recommander pour ceux qui vont prendre le ferry ou qui en sortent car à Thurso ce n'est pas top et à Scrabster c'est pratiquement impossible. Nuit très calme dans un décor apaisant. Beaucoup d'autochtones viennent avec leurs chiens le matin et sans doute le soir.

Peaceful site with plenty of flat hardstanding. Picnic tables and a waste bin for dog waste only, please do not fill with garbage. There are a lot of dog walkers here... let's keep the locals on side.

Nice spot. Level carpark. Picnic tables but no toilets or bins (except a small dog poo bin) The carpark looks quite new and well looked after, plenty of space. A bit of road noise up to around 9pm. 2 Nice little circular walks. Good spot, slept well, no hassle.
