Belle place de parking gratuite sur le Rhigos. Vue sur la montagne d'un côté et une vaste forêt / parc éolien de l'autre avec des kilomètres de sentiers pédestres. Près d'une route très fréquentée mais assez loin pour un peu de paix

Beautiful free parking spot on the Rhigos. Mountain views one side and an expansive forest/windfarm on the other with miles of walking trails. Close to a busy road but far enough away for a bit of peace

Amazing could do with a clean up for the rubbish but over all stunning views and we stayed with 2 other vans 11/11/23

Great place to stop over for the night. Can get quite busy during the evening, just people hanging out or walking their dog.

Great place to stop over for the night for free! Has hard standing and grass pitches. It is next to a busy road but didn’t bother us in the night! Unfortunately people leave litter here, it would be useful if there were bins here.

Great place to stop. Spent the night with a few friends no problems. No facilities apart from the bbq

Sehr schöner und ruhiger Parkplatz zum übernachten mit einer tollen Aussicht auf die idyllische Landschaft.

Stayed there last night, first time staying out in the van in January and very glad of the heater as it was minus 5 degrees, clear skies with no light pollution meant we could see hundreds of stars ! Not disappointed by the views in the morning either, as the fog lifted we were greeted by amazing snowy scene. Some road noise but not enough to disturb sleep. Fairly level parking bays and no signs .

highly recommended! the wind tempered the summer heath (32C!). Open view. Road clearly audible.

Great place to stop and camp for the night. It has hard standings and grass areas. There are BBQ tables on the grass areas as well. The views are amazing. Very quiet as well.

One of my regular stops, good place for any size motorhome, no signage or gates. I picked up a full bin bag of rubbish from the nearby carparks and forestry.

Stayed a couple of nights in 8m van. We had the usual visit from the locals but to be fair they kept to themselves and left after a couple of hours. They did leave their fast food wrappers which we cleaned up along with 2 bags worth of waste. Really good nights sleep and great view.

Stayed one night March 2022. Four vans in total overnight. Expect it gets busy in the summer- though there’s plenty of room for 6 or more if parked sensible. Great views across the valley and over a wind farm ( they are saving the planet. So not an eyesore!)

Learnt last night that we definitely need a heater in the van. Bit windy up there! Really nice level spot other than that and very quiet in the night

Lovely spot except someone is using it regularly and leaving piles of baby, wipes cans, food, rubbish in general. It won't be long until there is the no camper signs like the rest of the area.

We stopped here for one night in September. Beautiful scenery, lots of lovely footpaths in the woods behind the car park. Cars turned up just to take a break, some were dog walkers. There are large rocks to sit on and also bbq areas. Really peaceful at night surrounded by Iron Age ruins.

Wonderful place to stop for the night. Stunning views and beautiful sunset. Stayed during the week so very quiet. Had to pick up a pile of rubbish though. Cans, tissues, McDonalds wrappers!!! Grrr. Very quiet at night, just the sounds of the nocturnal forest and the road in the distance. Space for fire and BBQs so I imagine it gets busy on weekends. Nice walks through the forest.

Amazing stop over! Stayed last night Thursday 12/08/21, no other vans a few cars and dog walkers from around 0730. No trace left, will definitely be back!

Hen de'r mynydd. A beautiful view with no charge. A few campers here when we arrived last night. A few cars in and out but very quiet and peaceful.

Perfect place to stop for the night. it was a Saturday night and didn't see another person till six am the next day,( dog walkers) very quiet spot, got a great night sleep. a little difficult to find ( don't take the last right turn, carry on straight up the road)

Free car park with no signage. Great views and coniferous forestry nearby. Had the odd car come in to park up for a bit but on the whole very quiet. Would avoid weekends if possible as the mountain can get busy with fellow campers.
