Bel endroit tranquille avec accès à la promenade en forêt et à la piste cyclable. Nous avons passé une nuit ici et c'était vraiment paisible malgré le fait qu'il s'agisse d'un parking à côté de la route. Je le recommanderais certainement.
Nice quiet spot with acces to forest walk and bike track. We spent one night here and it was really peaceful despite being a car park next to the road.
Would definitely recommend.
Schöner ruhiger Ort mit Zugang zum Wald- und Radweg. Wir haben hier eine Nacht verbracht und es war wirklich friedlich, obwohl es ein Parkplatz neben der Straße war. Würde auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Stayed the night. Parking is set back far enough from the road that passing traffic didn’t disturb us. Slightly sloping. Had signal on EE, but none on o2. Park up is next to the path up to irton pike. Plenty of room for our 7.4m van.
03/06/2023 Stayed here last night . Fantastic little find tucked away . Just us and one other Motorhome . Not really a view at this time of year with full trees , but lovely and quiet . No rubbish bins , but it was very clean & tidy . Will definitely use again .
Perfect quiet night. In morning went for walk up to the top of the hill-also for phone signal as none at the carpark.
Simple, quiet layby. Don't expect views of Wast water or a pub to get food. Previous comments and scenic photos are not definitely not at this park up location. Its just a layby with a view of trees and used as a toilet for passers by
Large lay-by on pretty quiet lane. Few cars driving by in the night, but no one else parked with me. Footpath up into the woods
I stayed here twice in 2022. One of my favourite Cumbrian pubs . Superb menu and value . They are cool if you ask nicely. Perfect location
Stayed here for our first ‘off grid’ night. Only us and one other van. It’s a quiet spot off road between Santon Bridge and Eskdale with good access to Wast Water. It was pretty quiet with the odd passing car just heard.
Perfect little spot only 15 minutes from Wast Water. Had no issues at all. Very quiet at night, brilliant clear skies and fairly level parking. I’d definitely go back.
Problem free, peaceful night. Drove 5 mins next morning to have breakfast overlooking Wastwater as much more picturesque spot but no overnights allowed by lake.

space for a few vehicles. nothing wrong with the spot, but it's also not that nice. just a pull in off the main road, nothing to see or do. only speeding cars going past, but it's fine for a nights stay.
Nice place, quiet and out of the way, I stayed when there was a weather warning for 50mph wind and the huge old trees surrounding the place weren’t filling me with confidence especially as there was a couple of recent ones came down in the last wind, ended up moving to be safe but will definitely go back again!
15/01/22 - My usual P4N near Wast Water now has no overnight signs. Came across this spot and it was a good find. It’s by the side of the road but you can park back away from the road. Few cars went by in the night. It’s flat no signal. No complaints will use again all being well.
Nice spot, by the roadside but set back enough and the road isn't too busy so no issue. Small enough that there's not going to be too many others. Stayed for one Friday night. Good access for Wast Water as you can't park around there. Pretty much complete lack of phone signal if that's an issue for you. Recommend you park to the left or middle as the right isn't level. Sheltered from the wind
Stayed two nights. Near a road but reasonable quiet. Handy for Wast Water (they really don't want you round there!!!).
