Great park up locals are friendly and a very peaceful night .

Went along to end as some suggested. Hard standing with lots of space. Scenic riverside and very quiet Friday night / Saturday morning.

Nice and quiet til 7am when the trucks started coming in, but you get that in an industrial estate. Nice walking tracks and plenty of dog walkers around but everyone was friendly.

Nous sommes allé au petit parking 500m plus loin un peu plus en retrait de la route et avons passé une nuit très calme. Beaucoup de promeneurs de chiens jusqu’à la tombée de la nuit mais ensuite plus un bruit ! Parking plat

We parked up in the car park next to the river at the end of the road to the industrial estate, just a little past where google maps will take you if you put the post code in. Secluded spot but close enough for amenities if needed and a lovely sound of the river. A few cars in and out of the car park but no major disturbances. No toilets but plenty of bushes :)

Quite noisy last night as next to a industrial estate,cars leaving at 10pm and arriving this morning from 5am,good 4g on virgin (Vodafone) and Tesco (O2) nice dog walks.would rate 2.5 is possible,maybe quieter at weekends

Pleasantly surprised by this peaceful spot. Although there are warehouses the other side of the river, when I closed 1 curtain I could have been anywhere in rural Wales! A few cars passing late & early in the morning. 1 other van and myself parked up last night. Felt very safe as a solo traveller.

stayed here one night, no problems. River is decent! occasional waft of a bad smell

Location takes you to street parking, industrial on one side of the street,nice river path on the other. We drive along the road to the bend where there is a small park area with off road parking good for several small campers or vans. Picnic benches, rubbish bins, 4G service. Many locals on morning walks, no one concerned we were there. Super quiet, one other van joined us in the night.

Spent a couple of nights here whilst visiting Cardiff. Apart from a couple of boy racers early Saturday evening next to no traffic. Very quiet overnight and food van turns up early weekdays if you can't be bothered to cook brekkie. Rubbish bins all along the footpath and the river is very close.

No issues for me, quiet spot no bother what so ever. woke in the morning to find another car parked up taking their dog for a walk. off the main road in Bedwas so no noise at all.

Great little spot out of the way. its just a layby behind industrial buildings. we stayed on a friday night. had a group of boy racers driving up and down the road but didnt stop or pull it. no issues at all. great spot to stop before or after Cardiff. no bins or facilities but town just around the corner

The pin takes you to a big layby in an industrial estate, although you can park all along the entire road. You can't see the river from the road but it is really close by! Really quiet at night too. Nice flat place to sleep, phone signal and bushes nearby for an emergency pee - we also found there was a nice man running a burger van in the layby in the morning!

Very quiet night, no other cars/vans on a Friday night. Dog walkers from about 6:30am but all very friendly. Cooked & ate breakfast on the benches by the river. Bins clean & empty. No toilets nearby that we saw but wooded areas if needed! Excellent spot.

On a road next to a river walk. Alright, not the worst, but not fantastic. Free parking in the layby, ample benches and nice sounds of river levels anyway.
