Picturesque view over farmland. Unfortunately it seemed to be used as a toilet stop for lorry’s. Smelt of urine and lots of lorries noise as they passed through the night. Train passing through village also very noisy

Plenty of space, close to the centre or Shap but expect plenty of lorry’s driving past in the early hours of the morning! Very noisy.
IoanStanciu10/07/2023stayed here last night, arrived around 10pm, large space for 4 vans, little road traffic but stopped at 23.30 and started again 5.30, lovely pub across the road, lots of small farms with chickens. rail track very close but didn't disturb us considering trains were regular, great little stop off.

Gorgeous view over the falls and farmland. Rubbish bin. Pub just over the road. It's a bit too near houses for my liking but I use it daytime. Noise from the road but wide parking area so not too close. Please use the bin. There was rubbish including beer bottles on the grass verge.
