love it. Great beach for walking dogs, quiet spot. we've a large camper, no problem getting here.
Super endroit au bord de la baie. Le côté parking est agréable et calme et en traversant les dunes il y a une plage pour nager et se promener. Superbe vue depuis cette plage de l'île d'Achill. Toilettes publiques disponibles. Parking non goudronné mais il y a un terrain plat près de la route qui continue jusqu'au bout du promontoire. La route en direction est étroite et avant d'atteindre le parking, il y a du sable à traverser. Probablement déconseillé aux gros campeurs. Remarque : lorsque vous vous arrêtez simplement pour une pause, il y a plus de places de parc sur un terrain non plat.
Great spot by the bay. Side for parking is nice and quiet and when crossing the dunes there’s a beach for swimming and walking. Great view from that beach of Achill Island. Public toilets available. Not paved parking but there’s a patch of flat ground near the road that continues to the end of the headland. Road towards is narrow and before you reach the parking there’s some sand to go through. Probably not advisable for big campers. Note: when just stopping for a break there’re more park spaces on unlevel ground.
Toller Ort an der Bucht. Side zum Parken ist schön ruhig und beim Überqueren der Dünen gibt es einen Strand zum Schwimmen und Spazierengehen. Tolle Aussicht von diesem Strand von Achill Island. Öffentliche Toiletten vorhanden. Nicht asphaltierter Parkplatz, aber es gibt ein Stück flaches Gelände in der Nähe der Straße, das bis zum Ende der Landzunge führt. Die Straße in Richtung ist schmal und bevor Sie den Parkplatz erreichen, müssen Sie durch etwas Sand gehen. Für große Camper wahrscheinlich nicht zu empfehlen. Hinweis: Wenn Sie nur eine Pause einlegen, gibt es mehr Parkplätze auf unebenem Gelände.
Gran lugar junto a la bahía. El lado del estacionamiento es agradable y tranquilo y cruzando las dunas hay una playa para nadar y caminar. Gran vista desde esta playa de la isla Achill. Aseos públicos disponibles. Estacionamiento sin asfaltar pero hay terreno plano cerca de la carretera que continúa hasta el final del promontorio. El camino en la dirección es angosto y antes de llegar al estacionamiento hay algo de arena para cruzar. Probablemente no recomendado para campistas grandes. Nota: Cuando simplemente se detiene para un descanso, hay más espacio para estacionar en un terreno irregular.

Redrock8704/07/2023Beautiful spot. Beaches both sides - one with waves one without. Great views. 2 very clean portaloos. No bins. Good phone signal. High tide the turning circle before portaloos fill with sea water but quickly clears when tide turns. Locals drive across the beach for access. Weather was bit wild but dodged the showers for lovely walk along length of beach over the sand dunes. Loved it.

Perfecte plek voor een overnachting. 2 toiletten aanwezig. Mooie wandel mogelijkheden en 2 stranden aan beide kanten van de weg. Heel gaaf en heel veel plek, dus zeker voor 5/6 campers. Wij stonden alleen. Grote camper is ook geen probleem.

lovely spot, didn't see any toilets though. lots of dog walkers in the evening and locals using the beach as a road. beautiful sunset and views.
Cantseewevebeen26/04/2023Great place, here for a coffee break. Would of been happy to stay had it been later in the day. No sign of toilets - may be seasonal. Don't be tempted to drive past Atlantic way marker road fills with soft sand in the wind. Don't spoil the fragile ecosystem with rubbish and waste

stopped here overnight after spending a rare sunny day on the beach, it was a very pleasant place to spend the evening and overnight, the two public toilets were very clean, one other campervan stayed overnight and others were there during the day.
Manuel12345622/07/2022Nice place near the dunes. Some coming and going during the day, quiet at night. At low tide the eastern side of the beach is used as a road by the locals.
Kratus04/06/2022Nous avons passé une nuit très calme au bord de cette grande baie. Aucun souci pour y accéder avec notre camping-car de 7 m. Après un petit passage sableux en bout de route, il y a un vaste espace de sable très compact où on peut se garer et manœuvrer sans problème. Pas mal d'allées et venues le lendemain, samedi de week-end prolongé. Aucun service, à part deux WC chimiques de type "chantier".
