price is now £30pn, which I won't pay. pretty rough site but great location. Wouldnt drop price for no ehu
Le Hi tide est un charmant pub / bar situé sur le front de mer de Porthcawl. Ils ont aménagé le grand parking en emplacements . Vous êtes littéralement sur le front de mer entre la baie de Trecco et la fête foraine. Le site est venteux ( porthcawl l' est toujours ) mais vous avez tellement de choses à votre porte . Bon signal 4G partout, douches et toilettes propres. Notez que le site est entièrement en gravier dur et de niveau. Fête foraine littéralement à 2 minutes. Le site est verrouillé par une porte à tout moment et la clé de la porte est fournie à l'arrivée pour un dépôt de 20 £. Lorsque vous arrivez, dirigez-vous vers le bar pour vous enregistrer. The Hi tide is a lovely pub / bar right on porthcawl sea front .
They have converted the large carpark into pitches . You are literally on the sea front In between Trecco bay and the fun fair . The site is windy ( porthcawl always is ) but you have so much on your doorstep . Good 4G signal throughout , clean showers and toilets . Note site is all hard gravel and level access . Fun fair literally 2 mins away .
The site is locked by a gate at all times and the gate key gets provided upon arrival for a £20 deposit. When you arrive head into the bar to check in .

Das Hi Tide ist eine schöne Kneipe / Bar direkt am Meer von Porthcawl . Sie haben den großen Parkplatz in Stellplätze umgewandelt. Sie befinden sich buchstäblich direkt am Meer. Zwischen der Bucht von Trecco und dem Jahrmarkt. Die Seite ist windig ( Porthcawl ist immer ) , aber Sie haben so viel vor Ihrer Haustür . Gutes 4G-Signal überall, saubere Duschen und Toiletten. Beachten Sie, dass die Site nur aus hartem Kies und ebenem Zugang besteht. Kirmes buchstäblich 2 Minuten entfernt. Das Gelände ist zu jeder Zeit durch ein Tor verschlossen und der Torschlüssel wird bei der Ankunft gegen eine Kaution von £ 20 zur Verfügung gestellt. GeorgeWaters03/01/2023this site can only be described as ruff ..the so called toilet / shower block is what you would expect on a building site and are worn out so you will need your own on board shower and toilet facilities..£27 per night is way to expensive ...I don't live to far from this site and would have loved to give it a good review...but if I am honest the site owners want their backsides kicked.
luis51029/07/2022Right next to the beach but definitely not worth 22£. Toilets not clean. Showers were basic but okay. It really depends which pitch you get. Mine was directly next to a carpark and a gambling hall. Lot of rubbish laying around. Children running wild till late at night. The area generally is quite strange. If I would not have had to pay in advance I would have left right away
hnbarrett27/06/2022Stayed here 2 nights, £27 a night with EHU, great locations for surfing beaches, clean facilities and showers. As others, £20 deposit in the pub for the key fob. Great stay.
NicolaP9520/03/2022We stayed for the 1 night. Arrive for 12 and off 11am next day. Fob entrance key to get it from the hi tide restaurant £20 returned deposit keys to use showers and toilets which were clean and tidy. Close to beach amusements and restaurant/chip shops. Short walk into porthcawl town and Trecco Bay. Pitches are a tidy size. Beautiful view sunsets and sunrise, no wash up facilities. Added pictures.

Do not accept tents or 4x4 campers, only camper vans and caravans. They kindly let me stop as they were quiet. Busy place, I imagine it’s very busy in summer and school holidays as it right on the beach. Not normally my sort of stop but a change is always an adventure. £17 a night in November (non hook up).

Good site for a few days. Super clean facilities. Stones throw from the beach. Good walks in all directions. Hi Tide is a good pub with decent priced drinks a good food.
