excellent very quiet site, mostly static units, but very welcoming to us in our camper for a stopover just off the motorway, £25 for the night with EHU. Nice area to walk in,by the lake. perfect clean toilet and cleaning facilities. would highly recommend.
Accueil sympa. Cadre verdoyant, sanitaires propres et chauffés. Nous avons payé 17£50 pour une nuit sans électricité (van, 4 personnes). 2£ la douche. 6£ la machine à laver et 5£ le séchoir. proche de l’autoroute donc un peu de bruit de fond mais pas gênant la nuit.
Wir haben 25£ bezahlt, den Coin für die Waschmaschine für 6£ konnten wir auch direkt mit Karte zahlen. Ein sehr netter Besitzer. Die Sanitäranlagen sind in die Jahre gekommen waren aber sauber. Der Stellplatz selbst war in Ordnung, aber alles sehr eng.
Friendly helpful owners. Was squeezed in between caravans so no woodland view as I’d hoped from the picture on here. Facilities dated but clean, no complaints. Showers take 50p bjr you can get from office if needed.
Die Betreiber waren sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, obwoh wir recht spät angekommen sind. Insgesamt ist der Platz etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr sauber und gepflegt. Für die Duschen benötigt man 50 pents.
Wer die Natur liebt scheint der Campingplatz schön zu sein. Wir waren dort mit unseren Kindern, weil der Spielplatz so angepriesen wurde. Es gab nur eine, in die Jahre gekommene, alte Schaukel. Die 10 Stellplätze waren gefühlt mit daueruntergestellten Wohnwagen belegt. Wir hatten Glück überhaupt einen Platz zu bekommen. 20 Pfund die Nacht ist aber okay gewesen. Der Besitzer war etwas grummelig.
Nice quiet site for one night not much to do but nice for chilling . Dated toilets but very clean and warm. Showers good need 50p coins 1 gets you approx 8 mins. Office can supply coins. Manager lovely.
Vielen Dank an die freundlichen Eigentümer. Auf der Reise durch Schottland durften wir hier unkompliziert und kostenlos unser ChemieWC entleeren. Die Anlage hat insgesamt einen ordentlichen und sauberen Eindruck hinterlassen und scheint nicht nur für Familien ein toller Platz zu sein. Um Ostern waren jedoch alle Plätze belegt. Vielen Dank!
Ok for a couple of night stay. I’m not keen on being closely surrounded by caravans and was not able to use the showers, since I didn’t have any 50p pieces! On arrival in the dark is a quiz, since there are no clear signs and no one answers the phone.
Great peaceful night stay, with lovely lakeside walk in the morning. The pitches are very private so it is like almost staying in your own section of woodland. Good location just of the M6 - make sure to ring in advance to make sure there is availability as they limit the number of touring spaces.
