A dozen places available in peace with free services in winter. There are barriers so maybe the summer area pays off. We stayed for one night. This place is perfect for eating and resting before heading back.

tem todos os serviços básicos mas não tem electricidade; tem sombra e está muito é perto do cais, rio, restaurante e posto de turismo, mas longe do centro da vila se for a pé (supermercado) cheiro das fábricas de papel quase sempre desagradável, e barulho a noite inteira de outra "fábrica" que está no terreno mesmo ao lado. pet friendly.

Local com condições para disponibilizar água e limpeza. Tem sombras e zonas ajardinadas. Em épocas mais concorridas deve ser melhor chegar cedo para garantir lugar. Tem wc público super limpo pertissimo. O rio está a meia dúzia de passos, possível fazer Passeios de barco no Tejo, tudo tratado no bar/restaurante. Tem posto de turismo em frente zona de parqueamento.

Estacionamento largo e de fácil acesso. Água e despejos a funcionar. Pena o cheiro e barulho, mas o local está bem situado.

We stayed one night (4pm Tuesday 22 March) Great site. Free access to water, grey waste and black waste. Very clean public toilets nearby. Great views nearby. Good phone signal. Easy access for any size vehicle. We were not affected by the smell from the pulp factory on our stay. There were 3 other motorhomes here.

Mooie plaats, maar helaas kunnen wij echt niet tegen die geur van de pulp fabriek. We kwamen gister aan en de wind stond goed, dan is het een prima plek. In het dorpje een klein (gratis) museum over hoe ze olijfolie persen. En beneden een geweldig zicht op de Taag. Maar de volgende morgen wakker worden om 6 uur met een lucht die niet gezond kan zijn, echt sneu voor de inwoners van dit dorpje!

El lugar es maravilloso. El comportamiento de los autocaravanistas veteranos, no tanto. Por favor aparquen bien sus "autobuses" para que podamos entrar los demás. Un paraíso que tenemos que cuidar entre todos. Gracias Portugal.

What a fabulous Aire with free services. We are grateful to the community for it. The archeological site is really interesting just a 2 minute walk along the river.

Couldn’t park there due to a race boat event . parked further down the river near the football ground . quiet night . nice place . but the town sure does smell with factory fumes !!!

Prima plek, alleen chemisch toilet lozen en vers water halen (met jerrycan oid). Prullenbakken aanwezig, geen toilet beschikbaar (oktober). Als de wind verkeerd staat kan ik me voorstellen dat je iets ruikt van de papierfabriek een stuk verderop bij de snelweg. Nu totaal geen last van. Fijne plek als tussenstop richting Spanje.

We can't reach the dumping place with our camper.. and you need an attachment for the water otherwise u will be soaked :)

Todo muy bien hasta que a media noche cesó el viento y llegó el olor de la fábrica de celulosa, justo cuando un pequeño perro histérico de una casa próxima parecía dispuesto a callarse después de ladrar ininterrumpidamente durante horas y horas. Vaya dueños, sordos o insensatos. Una pena, porque tanto el área como el entorno están muy bien

Menudo olor!!! Hay una papelera y una central térmica... terrible. justo detrás del área hay otra nave industrial que activa extractores día y noche. Una pena porque el sitio está muy bien.

Tidy little spot Agree with all previous positive comments. Kayaking hire is close by. Neandathall museum... closed. Couldn’t find any decent tracks by the river to walk with a dog. Nearest tracks the other side of the railway station and near vertical. Not good when it’s +30*. Services still free. No barriers. Low trees.

Beautiful place with facilities, a few paces of the impressive Tejo. Walking distance of Foz do Enxarrique, place where the Neanderthalers lived. The spots for the Vans are with shadow. Like it

Quiet place with capacity for 16 motorhomes. close to the river and the beautiful natural landscapes of the Portas de Ródão Natural Park. all basic services are available on site for free except electricity. I recommend

Mise à la part l'odeur nauséabonde dès que nous sommes entrés dans cette ville, due a priori à une usine, excellente étape bien au calme avec possibilité de balades. Pas du tout gênés par l'odeur le lendemain.

Very beautiful area with free services (except electricity). The surrounding is a beautiful garden that leads to a water port where you can take the boat to make a trip in the river. It's also an escavating site where remains of Neendertal's where found and also the last remainings of Elephants in Europe.

Área de serviço muito boa, com sombras e todos os serviços gratuitos. Possibilidade de fazer um passeio de barco pelo Rio Tejo, sob marcação no restaurante próximo do cais que fica a 50 metros do estacionamento.

It's shut down now for emergency state reasons. You can still fill up your water reserves and get rid of black and grey wastr water though.

Bona àrea, amb llambordes, com tot Portugal. El lloc per recollir l'aigua estava ple de cotxes petits, però finalment varen marxar. El riu Tajo, aquí embalsat, és tranquil i hi ha possibilitat de navegar, ja sigui amb la nostra barca o amb un vaixell de passeig. Lluny del poble però per això tranquil, encara que la fàbrica de paper a vegades fa olor.

No smell today as winds are from the south blowing off the river. Great location with easy access to the river bank with great views of the Ródão Gorge. Interesting archeological site with lots of English information on the boards. Free water and waste disposal. Lovely spot.

Gratuito, possibilidade de manutençao aguas da autocaravana. zona agradavel junto ao rio tejo. possibilidade de passeio de barco e observação de fauna e flora, com duração de uma hora. devido a ser uma vila industrial, por vezes sente-se o cheiro da fabrica de papel. trilhos pedestres nas imediações.

This spot gets 3 stars because it feels incredibly safe, it has the best free WiFi. water/dump point the river is pretty -2* due to pollution and noise. there is a papermill and other industrial stuff in the area, and the air is pretty heavily polluted and smells toxic, and both mornings we've been very loudly awakened by gardeners mowing right next to our van! bizzare twice in 48 hours

Juste arrêter pour de plein d'eaux. Les places sont toutes en pentes donc prévoir des cales. Mais l'odeur est dégueulasse, pas sérieux pour un endroit aussi beau près du lac.

Very nice amongst the trees and 50 meters from the river. Good access, blocks needed, well lit, we felt very safe and had 2 very peaceful quiet nights. Black grey and fresh all available and also free internet from the tourist office during opening hours which is opposite the aire. Nearest restaurant is by the river but expensive. The town is a 1.5km slog uphill and not much there. During October most restaurants appear shut. Short walk along the river, provably better in summer.

Sitio con todos los servicios gratis, buenas plazas y mucha sombra. detrás del embarcadero al Tajo, hay un bar donde comer algo y tomarte unas cervecitas. Buenos paseos por la orilla del río cuando el sol lo permita. perfecto!

Lugar calmo, onde se pode acordar com o som dos passaros. Tem água, despejos e wifi, tudo gratuito. Nao tem eletricidade. Viagens de barco proximo, ao longo do rio tejo, para apreciar o monumento natural "Portas de Rodão", um falha geodesica. "Bar do cais" a 50 metros, um excelente café/restaurante

Un parking con desagüe (negras y grises) y carga de agua gratuito. En un parquecito de cesped muy bien cuidado. Tiene un barecillo con vistas al Tajo muy chulo. Como sitio de paso esta muy bien para dormir. Muy tranquilo.

Afrader!! opzicht prima locatie, maar naar 3 uur zijn we weg gegaan omdat we misselijk werden van de lucht die er hing, waarschijnlijk afkomstig van de grote fabriek die er staat, helaas niet op de foto's van deze locatie terug te vinden.

Merci à cette jolie petite ville. Très propre le lieu est agréable. Une jolie promenade au milieu des orangeais ,oliviers et des moutons avec de jeunes agneaux au bord du Tage.L' Aire est bien entretenue . Une nuit tranquille avec le chant du coq au matin .

A lovely little free Aire, clean, functioning and well maintained. Friendly locals passing by occasionally, we felt very safe and had a quiet night here. Easy access to river (we put our kayaks in there), a nice walk along the river to see otters and vultures amongst other things, and an area of archaeological interest too.

The smell was terrible. But in all other respects this is a lovely site with full facilities. It is in beautiful setting near the river and special interest area. A bread van came at about 9:45

L'endroit aurait été parfait mais cette odeur vraiment nauséabonde durant toute la soirée et la nuit nous ont gâché notre court séjour. Dommage car la commune a installé une borne de service gratuite lors de notre passage

Nous y avons passé une bonne nuit calme. Agréable aire gratuite ce 04/09/17. Très bel endroit. Le petit port sur le Tage est à 100 m. Belle balades à faire.
